So I was thinking...

We know Orochimaru was kicked from the Village by 3rd Hokage. Not sure when this happened, but lets say it was around 20 years ago. at least 15-16 since that was when 4th Hokage died. He supposeably turned evil because he wasn't appointed Hokage. He was exhiled from Konoha, when found doing crazy experiments on people.

We know Sasori left around 20 years ago, as it was stated by others that he did. No reason why he left, but we speculate that around this time he turned the 3rd Kazekage into his puppet.

We know Kisame is a Missing Nin of the Mist, and was part of the Mist 7. (is there an age on Kisame yet? He could actually be old) Either way, we know he attempted assassinations on high ranking people, or whatever.


So do you think that perhaps Orochimaru started those experiments, so he could improve his strength for the start of the Akatsuki organization?

Could Sasori have done the same, and have been one of the first members?

Kisame even?



The group could have been started by the leader 20 years ago, and he searched for strong ninja from each village. When he found potential ones, he had them do some very crazy shit to prove themselves, and they became a part of the organization. I am sure there is another old member as well, probably 2nd in command, like Zetsu or something. Then over the years they found more potential through members like Deidara and Itachi.



Here is the real twist though... This could mean that Akatsuki was the reason every one of them did such horrible things.

-Orochimaru was killing his own village's people in experiments.
-Sasori killed his own Village's Kazekage, to make him his puppet.
-Kisame was attempting assassination on high officials. (Mizukage was it?)
-Itachi killed his entire clan.
-Deidara went mad bomber on his village? (juss speculation)


But do notice that of all the members we know of, they all did something very evil before they left their villages. So they may have done this, at request of the Akatsuki? It seems a bit odd that once they leave, we don't know anything aboot them after, except that they joined Akatsuki.


Especially the realization that Sasori and Orochimaru may have both left their villages around the same time, and may have done what they did for Akatsuki.

Also if this was true, Sakumo died a little over 20 years ago as well... Which could help support theories on him being the leader.

as far as I understand it, Akatsuki is not just a recent collaboration of nin, but quite possibly an ancient organisation, which has been around as long as the demon tails. More than likely this is just one telling of their attempts to do something with the kyuubi and such.
