He's not a fucking genin that's for sure, he's ANBU root bro, and we all know root was a section that Danzo controlled. So he is anbu, although he doesn't fight like it.

i didn't know i was gonna cause so much fuss? But i really wasn't aware of the Sand sibs being Jonin already, sorry my fail.

as far as the verses thread this IS slightly different. cause they are fighting for a reason...to become Jonin.

Also NO there isn't a Jonin Exam, promotion is field performance based. which is why Kakashi was promoted in the Gaiden arc. Only thing higher than Jonin is Hokage.

sai is a Chunin. remember Tsunade said You are the only Genin in the squad after all.

The ninja ranking system applies to the ENTIRE ninja world. IF not the how would they any kinda of rank system in ROOT? he is obviously a chunin but of a different calibre. doesn't mean he is better than a reg chunin just mean they were trained different for different reasons. I mean really there is only 2 people out of the Konoha 12 that could be ANBU or ROOT....Ten Ten or Sasuke.

Why Ten Ten? Because her stealth would not be hindered by her weapons, and she would be easy to forget about if she suddenly disappeared and became ANBU but NOT ROOT. sasuke we all know HE could be either one.
