Re: Cooking Time

Ribs is tasty. Rub and/or sauce?

My mother-in-law likes to take the rare, cast iron bbqs, gut them, burn a small wood fire all afternoon in it, then smoke the ribs (or whatever meat she has). Best meat ever. (Though, I had some exquisite steak tartar once.)

Re: Cooking Time

Making a Miso soup with a side of a make-shift seaweed salad that's rendered down in white whine, shallots, mushrooms and garlic. I'll be adding scallops in there somewhere as well. Will share how it turns out.

Re: Cooking Time

I actually have something thats very tasteful and sweet, called Sherbet punch basically shebert ice cream mixed with 7-up it's really good.

Ingredients
  • 1/2 gallon lime or raspberry sherbet, softened
  • 1 liter ginger ale
  • 2 cups lemon-lime soda
  • 2 cups grapefruit or citrus soda
Directions
  • Just before serving, place sherbet in a punch bowl. Add ginger ale and soda; stir until sherbet is almost dissolved. Yield: 4-1/2 quarts.
But this is another recipe of it.

Sort of looks like this:

Re: Cooking Time

I made this today, making a little special starter for me and my girlfriend (Yes, I have got one of those now, which is why you guys haven't seen me around..).

This is Fresh Boiled Lobster, here meat seperated from the shells. Top is tail, bottom is claw. I chose to serve it with some rice-salad, consistent of chopped Iceberg, tomato and cucumber, as well as a little butter and a tomatoflavoured mayo (Basically, homemade Thousand Island).

As you can see, I have portioned the rice into small sushi-like balls, this whole setup is inspired by Sushi. More can of course be served on the side

Hope you like it

Oh, leaf shaped? That explains the awkward silence that one time I asked if anyone could pass me the vagina plate.

Re: Cooking Time

As your soon-to-be psychologist, i'd say you have an ambivalent relationship with vaginas. You should not objectify them in such way as you just did. However, I will encourage the use of pornography, both in motion pictures and gallery forms. Maybe this will get your damn brain straight again.

Re: Cooking Time

Yeah, DN earned his reds by leading a manly revolt in Egypt because of lack of brownie recipes. We are now prepared for that... so if you don't get your act together, there will be thousands of angry Egyptians at your door chanting.

Get on it.

Also, things in Egypt have turned a bit ugly I hear (despite the news' best efforts). Anyone seen Darth around?

Well, he thanked one of my posts this morning, so I guess he is still alive..

Well - recipe for you:

Ingredients:
250 Grams of butter
160 Grams of Dark chocolate (not over 50%, otherwise, this will be very bitter -.-)
4 eggs
225 Grams of sugar
125 Grams of flour
4 Teaspoons of cocoa-powder
˝ teaspoon of cinnamon

Process:

Whisk the eggs with the sugar, till you have a fluffy mass. Pour in the cocoa powder and the cinnamon, followed by the flour, little by little, so it will divide itself evenly with the sugarmass.

While doing this, melt the butter and the chocolate in a waterbath, while stirring in the mix. When the chocolate/butter has melted, and are mixed to a chocolate sauce, whisk it slowly with the sugermass.

Put the mass in whatever you feel fit to use, and bake it in the oven on heatblow. Should be baked at 175 degrees Celcius, in the middle of the oven, for 30-35 minutes, depending on how you want them. 25 mins, make them almost liquid in the middle. If you feel like it, you can add whatever kind of topping, i.e. Chopped almonds, cashews, hazelnuts etc.etc.

Good luck
