Personally, the sea makes some really tasty creatures. I've eaten a whole lot of them. Squid is good, but octopus is better. The problem with them is the preparation as if you don't know what you are doing, you end up with a rubbery mess. Takes some talent.

Going way back - what the hell is all this Nirvana bashing? Sure, their music is rather simple so that a man completely stoned out of his gourd could play it, but that's the whole damn point! Sheesh.

But I'm a bigger Pearl Jam fan anyway...

I like breaded and fried calamari, but I did not really like the squid sushi I had a while ago.

Oh god, by far the best thing I had in japan was these lil riceballs on a stick marianted, I think they're rice dumplings or something, but oh god they were orgasmic, I almost jumped out of the boat and swam back to the lil sales boat to get more.

OK, I take it back. Did some reading and apparently with the "cold" smoking of salmon, it is considered cured but not cooked and thus can classify as raw. I generally consider anything cured to be altered enough not to be raw as it is generally heated, salted, etc. But, by food definitions, it is possible to have smoked raw salmon.
