SOTW--Judge Discussion--VOTE

6n6 and I've been talking about making a SOTW--Sig of the Week--We have most of this setup but we disagree on one subject, and thats whether or not we should let judges compete. Thats what your for, vote, the end result will be the option with the most votes going through.

I have an alternate type of idea...

instead of having the judges compete each week, just let everyone vote at the end of the month for the 'judge sig of the month' or something of the sort. That way, the judges do compete, but it's not on a regular basis and they stay surreal to their job. I don't know, that's just my suggestion.

Anyway, I'm interested, could I be a judge? =)

We may have backup judges, but the starting 5 are already decided.

Nobody else apply for being a judge, we already have permenant judges. We have everything sorted out and agreed on except for this.

i think they should. i mean to not let them be in the competition isnt fair.

i know DI didnt say it...but i thought it was pretty obvious that judges were not gunna be allowed to vote for themselves if they compete....

judges shouldn't be allowed to compete like demon said they will vote them selves and also most likely the judges are gonna be the top gfxers of NL and the other ppl wont stand a chance so judges shouldn't compete

k 2 things..keit do u not read.....and also....jus cus ppl r good they cant compete?....so they shldnt hav allowed lance armstrong or any experienced cyclists to compete in the tour de france...so sum1 else cld win?....

Dude---Honestly, how would you like to be a judge and not be able to compete, your not thinking about other people, your thinking about yourself. Judges wont be allowed to vote for themselves, as gaara said.

But, if a pool is used, there is not way to tell, but I think judges should be able to compeate, even if they are the best. To exclude them is not really a good idea to get the best sig on NL.
