Even if PCs weren't superior hardware, the PS3 version of Skyrim is broken after a certain point. Literally. They patched it twice but some people are still reporting issues. Buy any other version by default.

et al: The multi-quote function doesn't seem to work, so I can't respond to all of you individually. Anyways, I did use a bit of hyperbole there ("budget PCs will cost more than consoles ever will"), and my main point was deviated from down a path I'm not really trying to go nor debate. PCs and consoles have their roles, and it seems they will stay that way going into the next generation.

Back when TechTV and The Screensavers were still around. The crew put together a pretty fascinating project (as they did often, fuck, I still want an updated Yoshi's Box for myself) where they had the entirety of a pc's components submerged in iirc it was high quality deionized water. With a pumping system that piped the liquid through dry ice, and back.

Obviously it was a highly convoluted system, but it worked perfectly. Computer engineers, get on the ball, and think outside the box.

True. Neither will usurp the others role. While I also prefer PC gaming. It is consoles that is trying to close the competitive gap between the platforms. Every generation of console, attempts to become more pc like in function. The updated 360 interface looks like the alpha version of the shitty windows 8 metro UI. Wouldn't be surprised if Microsoft's next console ships with the full feature windows 8 OS.

i need more space[in room], i game on a laptop. lol XD it's about 2-3 years old but i can run new games.

i have a pc but i never use it and its old now <.< when i can get enough money and be bothered to clear out space for it, id like to build my own pc.

what i want is better internets for online gameplay but so expensive =[

Don't feel bad. I rock a laptop too. At least half of the time. I prefer the flat keys on the keyboard, they just feel better for me. I need to get rid of some laptops though. I have three. There are three people in this house, only two of which are allowed on them, only one of which is nerd enough to use them extensively.

Probably never will though. All my computer crap just stacks up. Shit, I still have my old commodore +4. My parents didn't love me enough to get the C64 version. Holy shit, just thought of something. I should gut one of my laptops and try to stuff the components into the commodore case.

I did something like that once, except it was stuffing the guts of a VCR into the cardboard packaging box of a portable DVD player.

Lol, that box is like a foot and a quarter deep, I didn't want to look through it much because I knew it would lead to me bringing it home and hooking up the N64 or Super NES. Not sure where all my NES stuff is, the attic perhaps.

Look through it one day and see what else you have. I used to have an Atari (Yes the 2600, Kosovo was a little behind) and a NES in Kosovo but those got lost when I moved over here. Then I wish I still had my N64 with games but my brother gave those away. All I have to show for old stuff is this:

Sure enough I looked in the attic and there's my two original NES consoles, and some assorted games.

I swore I had more NES games though, hmm. I need to clean this stuff up and take better care of it. I don't foresee myself getting rid of my old game paraphernalia, it's the only stuff I have a real irrational attachment to. Fuck, I have a whole milk crate full of nothing but old school Nintendo Power mags. Man Nintendo used to be the top dog, wtf happened?
