LOL, yeah that was the part I was going to bring up. I didn't know wtf was going on at first, then it cut back to him in the throne telling the story. I thought that part was pretty brilliant.

No haven't played that part yet. Yeah I maxed my 2H shit out too, and got all the good talents in "Vanguard". Thinking I might try for a few of the passive abilities in "Defender".

Yeah that is pretty cool being able to easily take screens on the pc. I gotta take mine via camera phone from the tv lol.

I think I might go for some points in Defender next too, none of the specialization points interest me much.

My ability trees are pretty much identical to yours, right down to the single skill in Reaver (hey, a passive skill without selecting things you don't want first, why not?). I just realized I have a specialization point, there are a few things in Templar that look promising, other than that, not much I'm interested in.

I pretty much only went for Templar because that one point gives you +10% vs spellcasters and Fade creatures, while Berserker only gives faster regeneration. Though I may redo my skills later and go for Berserker too, who knows, either way, next play through I'm picking rouge because I'm sick and tired of not being able to open some chests.

^This. It's annoying having to have a mandatory rogue slot mainly just for picking chests. Because believe you me, I'm not passing up any goddamn locked chests, good loot is hard enough to find in this game, and sometimes it ends up being junk anyway in the locked chest....FFFUUUUUUUUU

The story is definitely excellent, the bartender just told me there was a massive drop in the pigeon population in Ferelden, an obvious reference to Shale lol. I wish they could have found a way to bring him back, loved that character, mostly because he sounded a lot like Harvey Fierstein.

I am liking the amount of stuff they do reference, really makes it feel like part of a more complete universe. I wouldn't mind putting a lot of points into Cunning for my rogue because it helps with critical damage, but fuuuuuuuuuuuuu, I might respec Varric and put some from his dexterity into cunning, or do it with Isabela since she's the one with the backstabs.

I always play these type of games with a balanced party, I wouldn't mind trying something a little off-the-wall for my next character. Like three mages (including myself), and a rogue in the party, or something different like that.
