Oblivion is like - OOOLDD!

Been some time since I played it, but I have been playing Elder Scrolls since the first game came out quite a long time ago... good entertainment.

I just couldn't get into Oblivion.

I modded the shit out of it and played some kind of sex-murderer. I think it was when I was crouched over the bloody, naked corpses of a couple in their bedroom and their son walked into the room and stared at me that I uninstalled the game.

I can't stand Oblivion (clashes with almost everything I think a good RPG should do), but I am very tempted to try Skyrim.

Hah, Skyrim's even worse. As a game, it's alright, but it's literally one of the worst RPGs I've ever played. It's like the whole game has been crafted to deny you the ability to roleplay.

If it turns up cheap in the Christmas Steam sales I'll buy it though, see what modding does for the game.

The efficiency/twinking nerd in me much preferred the leveling system in Oblivion (made spreadsheets for that shit), and the Elder Scrolls hasn't really been an RPG since Morrowind (no compass mother fuckers, you need to read your journal), but Skyrim is fun if you're just looking to ravage the landscape with sword and DRAGON SHOUTS.

//got another laptop, so gonna install shyte on that soon. its mid range graphicz card compared to my current which is lowww. its the geforce 650m. planning on getting another next year after i get another job, hopefully a better paying one. <.<

Maybe i wasn't clear enough, i don't care about the game but what you said about it made me wanna see what's it about without having to download n play. and i meant one of those walkthroughs where the player is walking through it for the 1st time not knowing what his doing, you know, like how we used to stream you play games?!
that was fun, i wouldn't call it stupid.
