Thing is, TWD is a game where the whole reason for playing it is making the choices yourself. Without that, there's not really any point in having anything to do with it.

Oh you mean there is an alternative paths/endings? If yes then i agree with you, I though the game is basically a movie that you just point and click to keep it playing.

In essence, it is. But the reason it's so emotionally effective is that it makes you feel your decisions affected the outcome (even when they really don't).

They do affect how the story unfolds.

I think i'll give it a go, will download it after Hitman absolution finishes download.

On another note, i've been laughing really hard over this for the past 3 min while repeating it over and over..but can't tell wither if it's actually that funny or am just fuckin' sad. Thoughts?

Only reason I don't watch walkthroughs is because if I care enough to watch someone else play it, might as well play it myself. It's more fun that way, anyways.

Started playing The Witcher. Combat took me a while to understand, and I'm sure I'm gonna get lost in all the alchemy, but whatevs.

The Witcher 1 was okay, though after I formatted my PC and imported my save files, I lost about 8 hours of playtime and I wasn't willing to run through the areas again.

Witcher 2 on the other hand, I will play that shit as many times as it takes. It's one of the best things.

It's been too long, I'll play some JoJo or whatever and we can all have a jolly fun time.

Also, I got Star Wars Battlefront II working again and it's still awesome. Story mode where you play as the clone army as the Empire grows? God yes.

In regards to watching other people play video games, I watch most if not all of the "Let's Plays" that the guys at RoosterTeeth upload. The Minecraft ones are particularly entertaining. Of course, I probably just enjoy them because I've watched tonnes of RT/RvB stuff (and listened to their podcast) so I'm familiar with everyone involved. It also helps that I have a similar sense of humour.

In regards to The Walking Dead, I haven't played it, but knowing what I know about it I have to agree with Jaxon, you need to have the emotion investment of having made those choices yourself.

Right now am waiting for Hitman absolution to finish download, am so excited about getting to play it. I've been a Hitman's fan ever since i was a little kiddo.
