Planetside 2 is fucking funny man. Kinda like an eternal war between 3 factions, where you create a profile on 1 of them. You can have multiple profiles, in different factions. You can switch roles during the game as you see fit, and overall - there is just a lot of boom, bang and headshots, cool planes, choppers, tanks and a whole bunch of other cool shit. Go have fun!

Plus, once you start researching new tech, the aliens already have bigger guns.

A challenge worthy of any OH comrade.
I thought the economy was really lopsided. Early on you can't afford shit, and it takes fucking forever to get satellites in orbit to try to keep panic down. Later in the game I had more money than I knew what to do with.

And one of the main things that annoyed me is when the unavoidable panic starts to spread in one country, it goes up across the entire continent. But when you do a mission in a panicked country, it only decreases the panic in that country, not the whole continent. Which would be FINE if you could select countries to do missions, instead of waiting for random shit to occur.

Re: Games and all things related

I still need to finish Darksiders. I have both of them installed on my PC.

I played it again for the first time in a while. Got past the sand-worm thing for the second time.

Also, BIOSHOCK tonight. Pre-loading like a motherfucker.

Re: Games and all things related

I loved the first Darksiders and will definitely play it again, I've played a few hours of the second and like it just as much.

I won't be able to play Bioshock until after work tomorrow, it's unpacking right now.

Re: Games and all things related

Yeah, I tried messing with all the settings. When I use any setting that's not windowed, the framerate slows to single digits, even in the menus and pre-rendered movies.

It might, might, have something to do with Tablet PC settings. I'm going to turn those off and see if it helps.

Re: Games and all things related

hopefully that fixes it O=

Also if u have 2 graphic card setup, make sure its on the better card. ive had to do this for some games because automatic setting didnt push games to use the better one lol

Re: Games and all things related

Haven't found a fix for it. There's one thread with the same problem in Steam Community, but they've come up with nothing.

I'm using fake fullscreen to play the game, and it's working out nicely enough.

Yesss!!! Hope the struggles Big Boss has to go through are epic tier. Seriously can't wait for this game.

Might just be me thinking with my dick, but it'd be awesome if this sort of tied into the original Metal Gear, and we got to see an updated version of Boss Vs. Snake.

Re: Games and all things related

Hayter says he's not involved in the game at all.

Hoping it's an epic ruse, and he actually voices a young Solid Snake who takes you down with a makeshift flamethrower at the end of the game.

Final boss fight is Solid Snake, and if you kill him, time paradox.

All of my money.
