Re: Dragon Age 2, Titan Quest and all things related
Don't worry guys Peter Molyneux said that Fable 4 will be better than Fable 3 which he promised to be way better than Fable 2 which was supposed to be all the things he promised for Fable 1.

Why was it such a disappointment in your eyes? Also, I don't think I have any intention of ever bothering with Fable 1 or 2.

Not in my eyes per se, but more often than not I agree with my man yahtzee, and this is one of those occasions. Watch his review, then play a game thats not a con/lib cash cow.

Re: Dragon Age 2, Titan Quest and all things related
The Fable series is all about fun for fans of fantasy. The thing I found infectiously entertaining was the level of humour they had about fantasy cliches and the overall storyline that improved the otherwise simplistic fighting/character development trees. Fable 1 was just awesome story wise and I just enjoyed playing it again and again (particularly with the lost chapters). Fable 2 cleaned up some of the depth in game options, though I felt it lacked a bit of the same story prowess. Still, it was endlessly entertaining and funny. They aren't the be all end all of great gaming, but it is what a "fun game" should be. You notice the flaws but don't care that much.
I haven't played Fable 3, but will, regardless of all the negatives I have heard. I just won't pay much for it.

Re: Dragon Age 2, Titan Quest and all things related
I liked fable 1 and 2. Fable 3 wasn't very enjoyable. I think the best thing about it was the opening with the chicken. Magic mixing was alright too, I suppose.
What really fucking sucked the most was being the king. The choices, the interactions, all that shit was horrible. The only options I have is employing child labor and running whore houses, or everyone dies? Come on! Oh, no worries, I still have a third of the year left to make money...OH WAIT NEVERMIND EVERYONE DIES ENJOY POST GAME WITHOUT ANY PEOPLE LOLOLOL. Fuck you, fable 3. Fuck you. |

Ah sweet, 'cause it's coming to Steam on the 20th of May and the co-op seems full.
Also, all Borderlands fans watch this -> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fii-KPEmcMw Some guy asked Gearbox to help him propose to his girlfriend and they made that for him. |

Edit: I just remembered one of the biggest "selling points" of Fable 3 in the first place: Holding hands. You would think that being able (forced) to hold hands with NPCs would make leading them places easier, but you would be mistaken. Several times I would be leading an NPC by the hand only for them to still get stuck on a rock. It would then be even more difficult to hold their hand again because the game could not deal with it correctly, sometimes thinking you were still holding hands. Quote:

Re: Dragon Age 2, Titan Quest and all things related
Games work fine now, I reformatted my PC. Dunno why it was crashing like that though.
EDIT: Downloaded Minecraft demo and now I'm hooked, the game looks simplistic outside but once you try it out and see what you can do(anything) its pretty amazing. You can do anything but watch out at night zombies and monsters come out so you build whatever you want, fortress, dig caves, make a house, build the empire state building, pretty cool a true sandbox game.

Re: Dragon Age 2, Titan Quest and all things related
I saw that article but not the post here, sorry. Still at the time I wasn't that interested I just thought it looked crap, until I tried it and it rocks, and to top it off has zombies, I lost my stuff because of them, damn zombies!!!
There's a Minecraft clone called Ace of Spades, its basically Minecraft in TDM with guns. You build your trenches and fortress to defend your intelligence while also stealing intelligence. Sounds nice, until hacks and trolls showed up, and the graphics are worse than MC. But still, its good to keep an eye on that if they fix it.

Oh God, fuck Minecraft.
Just... it's addictive as hell to play, but... if you stand back for a second, you realise it's just Autism - The Game. |
