Yeah microwaves, and 2.4g cordless phones can cut right threw a wireless signal if they are close to, or in between your adapter and router. Most notably the older ones like you described as having.

its not just connection, its the steam servers too. this i know from previous steam sales. its just a lot slower when its big sales time XD

Maybe I'm just a lucky one then, already finished the 23g download of DAO Ultimate, that I start this morning. Of coarse I don't have a shat ton of people using my network, so that probably helps.

Your bandwidth must be terrible to take over a whole day to download a game from Steam. That or Steam's servers have been worse than I thought over the summer sale, but they've been okay for me.

i think it might depend on what game u are dling as well. yesterday after i got magicka i couldnt get dl to work, said steam servers were busy, but i was able to dl other games.

i got the gore set to kids mode, so blood turns to candy and confetti.

Bounty Hunter trailer was a little underwhelming compared to the other class videos, but I'm still gonna play the fuck out of that class. WoW fans mad because they don't have lightsabers 'n' shit.

So, Guild Wars trilogy on sale today. Anyone else thinking about grabbing it? I missed the New Vegas deal, so I kinda want to hop on this bandwagon.
