Now to hope that the military keeps to its word on creating a form of democracy instead of going from one dictator to another.

Quotes for noobs (learn how to break up a quote)
Quote:

So you can post the second bit and i shouldnt be allowed to if i dont tell you? Why be so rude?

Anyways, here is a quotes for noobs guide

1. A basic quote

[*QUOTE][*/QUOTE]

(the * need to be removed for it to work, I put them in so you can see the text) is a basic quote that just wraps something in a quote without saying who quoted it who quoted so

[*QUOTE]this is a quote[*/QUOTE] without any * would look like
Quote:
this is a quote

Edit: there is a button for this, it looks like a speech bubble. If you select text and then press the button the selected text will automatically be wrapped with the quote tag

2. A quote that says who said it

[*QUOTE=who said it][*/QUOTE] this adds who said the post, manually putting that there can be useful when quoting something external. Example:

[*QUOTE=Mangastream]Remember all you sexy bastards out there, Naruto, Bleach, OP, FT, etc. all on break this week. Feel free to take your rage out on us[*/QUOTE] without any * would look like
Quote:

3. A quote that says who said it and links to the post where it was said

[*QUOTE=who said it;X][*/QUOTE]

Where X is the post number.

For the post that i originally quoted it would look like this

[*QUOTE=minato uchiha;2118164]Ok Stubborn donkey, how do you break it up please and if your not willingly to tell me, then please DONT offer me no advice in future[*/QUOTE]

That is what you get when you press the quote button.

4. Breaking up a quote

Now that you know how quotes work it all boils down to preference, how you want it to look like and how you want to do it.

One way of doing it is copying the latter part of the original quote [*/QUOTE] and then pasting it after each section you break up, write your reply, choose the text you want then paste it after that portion, repeat till you finish the go back and copy then paste the first part of the text at the beginning of each portion of text. Of course you can immediately copy and paste both parts of a poste so that you dont forget one in the end.

The end result would be something like this

[*QUOTE=minato uchiha;2118164]Ok Stubborn donkey,[*/QUOTE]
My reply 1
[*QUOTE=minato uchiha;2118164] how do you break it up please[*/QUOTE]
my reply 2
[*QUOTE=minato uchiha;2118164]and if your not willingly to tell me, [*/QUOTE]
my reply 3
[*QUOTE=minato uchiha;2118164]then please DONT offer me no advice in future[*/QUOTE]
my reply 4

Which without any * would look like

Another way of doing it would be to cut and paste the second part of the quote tag after the first section of text you want to seperate then write your reply select the second part and hit he quote button (it looks like a text bubble),if you do that without anything else the end result would be

[*QUOTE=minato uchiha;2118164]Ok Stubborn donkey,[*/QUOTE]
My reply 1
[*QUOTE] how do you break it up please[*/QUOTE]
my reply 2
[*QUOTE]and if your not willingly to tell me, [*/QUOTE]
my reply 3
[*QUOTE]then please DONT offer me no advice in future[*/QUOTE]
my reply 4

Which would look like

Quote:

my reply 4

To make it like the previous example (which wpuld be preferred, though not necessary ) copy the part that says who posted with the link to the post and paste it accordingly to the proper part in each first half of each quote tag. In my I would copy =minato uchiha;2118164 and paste it where the # is
[*QUOTE#] to get [*QUOTE=minato uchiha;2118164] (of course with the * removed)

Of course you can use any other method you like to get to the end result, but now that you know what the end rwsult looks like I think there shouldnt be any problems

Re: Remember remember the 25th of January

I won't fall in with your gratulations just yet. The military has the power now, but let's hope for the sake of many lifes that they will give it up again, when elections are being held. A militaristic dictatorship is still a dictatorship.

And one has to wait and see how the situation with the neighbouring states playes out, especially the new diplomatic and political stances of the new formed gourvernment with Israel.

But I will give my respect to the people of Egypt for successfully fighting for what they believe in. But be warned. Don't let it come to a system like in Iran. Religion and State should always be seperated.

Apparently what happened is that the Army secretly gave Mubarak one last chance (that was yesterday) to save the country,Please the public and send them back home by making the right decision. Ofcourse because hes an Idiot he made the worst decision in a form of a statement that raged the public even more..to day in Alexandria we marched toward the presidental palace here and the guys in tahrer sqaure was preparing themselves to march toward the presidential palace there at 8:00 pm (the beginning of curfew),This is when the Army was like "Ok Mubarak you had your chance and you blow it,Fuck off",The vice president announced that in 3:00 pm in a less than 30 seconds speech and then we were like "FUCK YEAH,JUSTICE"

No body have any worries about that around here since not a single Egyptian wants a Government like Iran's,Not even the Muslims brotherhood themselves.

and thanks for your support.

@people talking about the possiblities of the army falling into the dark side: I assure you that that ain't gonna happen.

The Army entered the game to return the legality back to the people after the government proved itself unworthy of it so it doesn't make sense that they will steal or cancel what they returned to us,Plus the people showed so much love and trust to the Army and the chance of our honorable soldiers to betray that is zero.
The worst case scenario is that the Army will start being strict in returning back the order incase if some retards are gonna continue protesting and paralyzing the country for whatever reason left.

Finally..

On behalf of Egyptians i tell the rest of world's governments: DON'T FFFFFUCK WITH THE PUBLIC.

And my advice to all the remaining politicans, policemen and smooth talkers: You better start swimming now, motherfuckers,or you'll sink like a stone FOR THE TIME THAT WE ARE CHAINGING.

Yeah, but this is one that would in my opinion. French Revolution occurred because they were pissed as fuck paying majority of the taxes and under a totalitarian government. Majority of the Egyptians hate Mubarak dude and are under a totalitarian government(somewhat) so they wouldn't care if he's dead. But whatever, the guy resigned.

I hope you are joking. I know about Egypt, they teach us that in kindergarten. That dictator style comment was towards Mubarak guy.

@LN: I'm saying he should be assassinated because he's a bad leader and a dictator who cheats the system every term with his name always showing up due to his, I assume, secret police and on top of that ordered fire on unarmed civilians(bloody sunday much?) He pretty much is overall negative to Egypt. You might think it's immoral and uncalled for, but if you think about it, this guy could've helped Egypt out of debt but didn't. Who'll be upset if he got assassinated?
@Kluang: I know it's difficult, I didn't mean as in the "Chosen one" takes on the guy and his army, rather that the masses are pissed and exceed the Mubarak and his army by sheer numbers. Of course this won't happen now(fortunately) so we should end it here.

Re: Remember remember the 25th of January

Oh poor, naive, nlb. You don't seem to get it. Assassinating Mubarak would've created a power vacuum for his cronies that would've put Egypt into a bigger turmoil than it is already in. There would've been more blood being spilled needlessly in the ensuing civil war. The way it's going now, the military can help build a democratic government (hopefully) that would write a constitution that would better prevent something like Mubarak from happening again.

Re: Remember remember the 25th of January

@NLB- Assassinating Mubarak would only make things worse. Aside from the power vacuum it would have made, it's simply not justified to do. How are you going to foster the spirit of democracy if you go around killing a guy like a vigilante. It's just plain counterproductive.

On top to that, how do you think the military would respond to an assassination attempt, even a unsuccessful one. The way Darth Nero describes them, they seem like honorable people. Even if they wanted him gone they are still required to protect the peace and order and fulfill their duties as soldiers. Anyone trying to assassinate the leadership would have to be "put down" by the military out of principle, which is the worst possible outcome for the protesters, since the military would have to distance themselves from any illicit actions the protesters were doing.

Besides, guns are for pussies with no courage. Real men stand firm against injustice, take the blows, and sweat blood for their country. Take notes from the Egyptian people, you could learn something.
