1. A basic quote

For the post that i originally quoted it would look like this

That is what you get when you press the quote button.

4. Breaking up a quote

Now that you know how quotes work it all boils down to preference, how you want it to look like and how you want to do it.

One way of doing it is copying the latter part of the original quote [*/QUOTE] and then pasting it after each section you break up, write your reply, choose the text you want then paste it after that portion, repeat till you finish the go back and copy then paste the first part of the text at the beginning of each portion of text. Of course you can immediately copy and paste both parts of a poste so that you dont forget one in the end.

The end result would be something like this

[*QUOTE=minato uchiha;2118164]Ok Stubborn donkey,[*/QUOTE]
My reply 1
[*QUOTE=minato uchiha;2118164] how do you break it up please[*/QUOTE]
my reply 2

To make it like the previous example (which wpuld be preferred, though not necessary ) copy the part that says who posted with the link to the post and paste it accordingly to the proper part in each first half of each quote tag. In my I would copy =minato uchiha;2118164 and paste it where the # is
[*QUOTE#] to get [*QUOTE=minato uchiha;2118164] (of course with the * removed)


Of course you can use any other method you like to get to the end result, but now that you know what the end rwsult looks like I think there shouldnt be any problems

I agree, these weapons are a horrible plot device on Kishi's part. We have the Sage of 6 Paths, father of ninjutsu, wielder of the Rinnegan and able to use all of the basic elements of chakra, host of the Juubi, and he needs special weapons? He sealed the Juubi into himself and he needs a sword/gourd to seal people? He can use all of the base elements of chakra, and he has a fan that does the same thing? Um...am I missing something here?

^This. I've felt the same way about these crap-tastic weapons.

Pein could rip the souls out of people with just a touch. Compare that to the Rope/sword/magic-word combo, that may or may not even work, and this shit is just lame. Especially since RS was supposed to be way more powerful then Pein by his own admission.

Well, I theorized that the 9tails is actually Half of the juubis power in one beast while the other eight split up the other half....

And with the sage using only the yang chakra (good/life) chakra which is how he got that aura like naruto has, thus gained the RG... then the other half of the juubi (the yin) chakra had to of been able to bestow the SG and the kyuubi connection to that power (madara with the real SG power being able to sumon it and even the regular SG able to suppress it) is what makes me believe the kyuubi is actually half of the kyuubi.....

The Overall story lost momentum when Tobi became Madara and Kishi closed the connection between Byakugan and Sharinghan. Topped it off by introducing So6p and taking away from the greatness of Itachi.

i mean why? why Kishi? why stop what you started in the beginning? i don't mind introducing the RG. But it should go: Byakugan-Sharinghan-Rinnengan. They should all be connected. Keep the Sage as a legend, but the juubi was a major F up!
9 tails being the strongest was perfect. The story of the Boy with a demon inside fighting to NOT use that power but develop his own. great. a reject wanting to become Hokage to earn love and respect, great. Going through sage training , okay. that's fine.
at that point after defeating Pein, it should have went back to retrieving Sasuke but he would NOT be with Akataski(cause there would be no Tobdara) he and hawk would be on the mission of rebuilding his clan. Naruto could feel like continuing his Sage training to the point of entering sage mode while moving.

Also i think finding a way to make two clones that could go sage as well would have been cool. But basically becoming a Sage should have been his ultimate triumph giving him better jutsu and hand to hand abilities. controlling the Fox should have went a different way.
Like him fighting the Fox foe hours and eventually the fox agrees to cooperate until he feels Naruto is too weak to deserve it.

Maybe the sage had guys like Rock Lee who couldn't use ninjutsu, so he created these 5 treasures so they could feel special too.

But then the mean old demon brothers came along and stole their special toys...so sad.

Sage was like Oro. Experimented with his mod powers. Used perfect Izanagi to make lame weapons. Because he was so goodhearted, a banana, pot and gourd came out.

I said the chakra was split amongst the 9 bijuu and the 10 tailed beast's body was sealed into the moon(meaning the Juubi's body had none of it's chakra.)
