Damn it Kubo, bad enough that during all the crap Ichigo went through he never learned anything new. You'd think that with a clean slate there would be a little inovation. What a fool I was to expect something new.

I'm pleasntly supprised, I was expecting a sword and I'm pleasantly surprised. Overall bleach may suck but this chapter was actually not bad, though for a chapter of Bleach it was good

I also found it strange he figured out he had to use it as he would a flange on a sword. Seriously, when was the last time he blocked any blow by something other than the blade or his body? His sword didn't need a flange.

I liked his first take on how to use it better. It would have been a total rip off of Kazeshini but I would have preferred the swastika attached to his arm by Zangetsu's chain and used in the same death yo yo manner.

You have to realize that this is still the beginning of regaining his powers. I don't think his ability will take the shape of his bankai flange.

Ichigo will get his sword back. He's just doing it one piece at a time. You know Kubo will do anything to keep the cash cow in business.

My prediction for the next 11 weeks goes like this:

Week1~We get some bullshit explanation of his new weapon.
Week2~Ichigo uses his new weapon thingy in real combat and realizes it sucks ass.
Week3~Ichigo begins his training to upgrade his weapon.
Week4~He finishes his training and now has a sword handle. (yeah progress)>_>
Week5~He gets in another fight, and his weapon still sucks ass.
Week6~We get a chapter of bullshit explanations on why he still sucks ass.
Week7~He trains more.
Week8~Even more training, ending with the showing of his finished weapon on the last page.
Week9~Yet another fight with him not totally sucking ass. Just kinda sucking.
Week10~???
Week11~profit....for kubo that is.
