Because it's online. It's on a blog. It flat out states the IQ scoring system is still being worked on.

it is an iq test, maybe its not the standard type given but there may have been a lot of research put into this test and it may be fairly accurate, there is no one definitive way to test ones iq, there can be more then one accurate way. i dont know how they came up with the test but they did not just say im takin a section from an iq test and using it.

It is not accurate, it is un-calibrated; therefore it instantly admits all scores are incorrect. If something is uncalibrated there is no way it can give an accurate results. Take it from someone who works with calibrated tools for a living.

Is the reason you push for your opinion to be taken as truth because you scored higher than you expected and want to hold onto that? Does it boost your selfesteem or something,? I'm curious as to why you are deadset on getting everyone to admit this test is legit.

There are several standardized tests. Each of these tests have been researched for years and have been found to be valid and highly reliable in gauging a child's learning ability. This isn't anywhere near one of them. It doesn't test a child's ability to learn. It tests one's pattern recognition ability, which has nothing to do with intelligence. It's equal to a toddler matching the cube to the square shaped hole in a toy.

They pretty much did. There is a pattern recognition section in a standardized test, which has similar questions but in a less obnoxious approach, and is less emphasized than the other sections of the test.

Seriously, just stop. You won't win on this. This "test" isn't an I.Q. test and it never will be. It's someone bored and making a matching game online. For fucks sake, they even say the I.Q. scoring system isn't finished. There is no scientific backing behind this. Only 1 person is apparently working on it based on the facts that it's on a blog and the guy's e-mail is on the scoring page. Each I.Q. test has had teams of researchers working on it to make sure it's reliable and valid.

Based on the lack of any credible (or even uncredible) sources to cite, there hasn't been any research put into this test.

It isn't accurate in any way. Aside from the fact that the scoring hasn't even been calibrated, thus making any results invalid and invalidating this test, it doesn't factor in the ability to do math, to do word association (spelling, grammar, synonyms, etc.). This makes it doubly invalid because it doesn't cover the entire spectrum of intelligence. It can be retaken and the scores can be changed, making it unreliable. Therefore, it's not an accurate, or even legit, I.Q. test.

Read the above remark and shut the hell up. This isn't an I.Q. test.
