a bit late on responding to this one, but I digress. Itachi effectively entrusted Naruto to keep Sasuke from being corrupted by Madara, putting a failsafe on him in addition to one on Sasuke. He basically saw Naruto as the one who could keep Sasuke from becoming Madara's puppet.

Let's not forget that it was Itachi's speech to Naruto that "inspired" him to, let's face it, realize that Sasuke might not be able to be saved.

Itachi and Nagato are basically opposite sides of the same coin. Itachi has the supposed "dark" power, the legacy of hatred, yet he honestly could not be corrupted, and Nagato has the "light" power of the RG and his Uzumaki heritage, but was blinded by hate because of Madara.

Itachi as a character falls in between Naruto and Sasuke, and he represents both of their causes. He is an Uchiha no matter what, and that makes him a part of Sasuke's revenge, the principal part no less, but he honestly held the ideas of peace and guarding others that Naruto has taken up from Nagato and Jiraiya.

Naruto and Itachi having true interaction would be fuckloads more interesting than what either of them would get with other characters with plausibility of appearing.

Now, onto the spoilers.

Bee takes Naruto's side out of goddamn nowhere. Unexpected, but not exactly a twist. Still sorta contradicts Bee's character of not wanting to fight just out of laziness and not giving a shit.

Naruto eats the note...why? What classified info could possibly be on that which would make it worth terminating? It's a personal letter for God's sake.

Barrier team fails...expected. But really. Shouldn't a fucking SEAL BARRIER be capable of withstanding chakra? Shouldn't that at least be within these people's capabilities?

Madara joins fight...by summoning the Gedo Mazo. Ok, we already know this thing is horrifically overpowered in a fight, but really? How is it efficient for taking on thousands upon thousands of soldiers? Shit, man, his RG would be 100x better for that. Kishi has to understand that no one wants to see Madara sit on the sidelines YET AGAIN, right?

Kishi's rushing shit so much it's insane. I mean, I foresaw at least 3 major war efforts before the end. At this rate, it's going to be This, NvS, Final Confrontation. Too fast, not enough screentime for things.

I wasn't coming with facts to disprove anything...Just an opinion. But whatever.

You were arguing, hence the debating with Numinous. I wasn't even counting the "Who cares" comment because almost no one cares(just in case you want to spin this on me.) I mean this Kishimoto guy can make non-shit chapters and a non-shit manga overall but chooses not to(See his one shot baseball manga that was pretty good imo. See the Pain fight in Naruto or the Mifune vs. Hanzo fight.)

Your three points were "Who cares," "Fodder fights suck" and "Lazy writing", respectively. Numinous countered all three. Look:

For the first point, you pulled a strawman argument so he countered that.

For the second point, he gave an example of a fodder fight that didn't suck(Mifune vs. Hanzo) and you agreed it was decent.

For the third point, you backpedalled saying that it could or could not be Lazy writing and you won't even dispute it and totally beat around the bush saying that you liked the way it's going.

You basically agreed without even realizing it. There isn't even a debate anymore.

TO ME..the fodder fights do suck. I didn't find them entertaining. And Yes I said one fight was good...and then I said thats ONE FIGHT...OUT OF THE WHOLE WAR..THE REST SUCKED. Big whoop..I agreed on a fight. But my overall opinion still stands.

Lazy writing...I said that was his opinion in my first post..thats all. I did not give my view on it whatsoever...and even when I did in the second post it was not confrontational...BECAUSE I WASN'T TRYING TO ARGUE.

Since we didn't see Naruto make his bijuu blast rasengan and is still in the middle of training, who do you think he'll perfect it against? It can't be Sasuke because he'll kill his boyfriend and I don't think he'll do it against Itachi and Nagato since he had a bond with them even if it was hardly a bond. I put my bets on Madara or at least Kabuto.

I PERSONALLY think that To do this WAR right Kishi should have made this part 3. i mean this war,if every single Fight was focused on and not rushed while Naruto trained on MORE than another DAMN Rasengan(like maybe THAT jutsu?) and Madara removed Sasuke's bandages and TRAINED him as well(since he wasn't in plans for the WAR).

That could have taken a whole year(ours & Naruto world)to do! Every month could have been a division fight, then bring out the "OH SHIT KABUTO SUMMONED THEM" characters and do it again until December. Then Jan. 2012 bring out, Naruto has finished training but what is he capable of after so long? then the next year focus on the unveiling stuff. Like Tsunade heads to the field, showing us actual Jutsu prowess, Kabuto pulls the double cross, secrets of Zetsu revealed, Naruto faces Edo's like Nagato, people die (IMPORTANT people), ninja surpass their previous limits on the battlefield.
then middle of that next year( total year and a half) the WAR comes to an end and Sasuke does something to betray Madara and help the Alliance. But still vows to take vengeance on the elders and anyone else that had something to do with the massacre.

Naruto DOES not meet Sasuke in the WAR.
More training and experience in Sage/ RS mode and being a chunin for Naruto and meetings on how to govern the NEW Ninja Alliance. maybe even the premise of a Grand Kage to govern them all as a mediator like what they went to Mifune for.

Looking foward to seeing what madara can do with the rinnegan. He can't possibly be able to use all the ablities afforded to a rinnegan user with just one eye, can he? One things for sure though...He is defintely shaping up to be a good final villain powerwise..In the fact that he can the Gedo Mazo just makes much more powerful, on top of his Sharingan abilities.

It's like some sick joke when you think about. Madara appears to be genuinely concerned about capturing both of the hosts yet blew plenty of opportunities when options were opened to him. How does that even happen? Then the spoilers happen with Madara getting serious. I'm like no, no, he can't be fuckin' serious.

Kishi can't be fucking serious with Madara's worried nature, he can't, he does not deserve to be concerned.... No, no way, I'm not that hard up to understand Kishi's mess... Madara creates this fuck of an idea to tell the allied forces his plan while Kisame half beats Killer Bee to death, however, on Madara's word, decides to play dead and gather intel on troops who would never have amassed if it wasn't for Madara's fucking instigation.

Better yet, he pays Naruto a visit right before any of his bafoonery comes to fruition. Naruto hasn't mastered the Kyuubi's chakra either. Instead of sucking Naruto into the void of no return, he leaves to go pop shit with the Kages.

Madara's his own worse enemy. Then, hires Kabuto to do a job which places Kabuto right on the hosts' current location. Guess what, Kabuto thinks up is round and 5=sheep, so grabs Yamato instead...

Hey, then again, this is the same guy who sends his blind brother into battle to fight... And the same guy who foiled the plan he gave to Sasuke; almost killed the guy. If that happened, then what? Yeah, exactly.

The Rinnegan doesn't really offer any unique jutsus or skills aside from giving the user access to all elements of chakra that aren't kekkei genkai and the six paths. I'm guessing he's essentially using the Rinnegan's elements and combining it with the copying ability of his Sharingan.
