About Sakura, I really want to know what Kishi's white knights on this forum have to say about her development. As I said before, she's basically pairing fodder that happens to know how to heal, and this chapter just confirmed that: Kishi introduced a random Iwagakure (by the jacket) just to make Sakura say she's in love with someone. It's just baffling how Kishi is wasting precious panels on fluff and what the readers really want to see (Gaara & Ounoki vs former Kage; Kakshi vs Swordsmen of the Mist, among others) are not hinted, that's if they didn't already happen off-screen.

Maybe it's the effect of Informed Ability, much like Seth McFarlane tries to convince us that Meg is hideous as hell and Louis is heavenly gorgeous, even if their faces are pretty much the same and pretty much neutral. Which is a thing I really dislike, it just feels insulting the author telling things to the readers/viewers that aren't there but if we don't see we're complete idiots.

This scene is pretty much a non-sequitur, it's just there to mislead the readers. About realism, I agree, this scene is completely out of place. It'd work if we actually saw them interact before this scene and that interaction was before the war, or on the other hand, if they fought together in the war and he sent the love letter after it. Now, in the middle of a war that already claimed 50% of the participant's lives, the guy's priority is to get frisky with the nurse? The hell, man?!

My guess is that Kishi saw the wrong war movies and misplaced the part where the soldiers kiss the nurses, because that normally happens AFTER the war. And, of course, he wanted to throw a bone to pairing tards.

Which is why Kishi annoys me to no end with Sakura's character. Her design is terrible, her aspects as a character are weak and not likable in the least ( unless you happen to be one of those people that: A. Use the " she is a regular human " excuse, or believe that this is what a normal teenage girl is supposed to act like. ), yet we see people like Jiraya, Inari and now this random guy praise her for her non existing attractiveness.

This scene is flat out terrible as it is, and if it is just a red herring it is easily a contender for worse scene in the manga period imo.

Obviously madara uses the Physical EMS eye, but wheres the genjutsu EMS eye??? Could it be in another zetsu clone masquerading as madara, but really just another person?!? IDK, isnt like neji just got controlled and saw a shinobi that couldnt be him so theres a mystery ninja running around with genjutsu abilities similar to what we've heard controlled yagura and clearly on a different level from even itachi.

Its either the other masked man or sasuke because no one else could possibly be capable of such a jutsu.

It is when, as ama pointed out, Zetsu really asked "what about YOU, tobi?". We know Zetsu refers to Madara as Tobi so he wasn't asking about a second person.

Remember the eye Madara lost using Izanagi? Yeah, that might be where his genjutsu MS eye went.

Madara only has ONE SG eye. He sacrificed the other one for izanagi when he fought Hashirama.
