Now it's properly fixed.

First, what kind of prosthetics producer would come up with "foxy ears"? I know about cosmetic prosthetics, but they're more about highly detailed hands, feet (because some people don't like the mechanical look/feel of normal prosthetics) and penises, I highly doubt they'd have furry appendages laying around because, well, the target market is too small for profit.

Second, said cosmetic prosthetics don't cost a dime, they cost thousands of dollars, so, again, I highly doubt anyone would bother making a "foxy ears" model for a 15-year old furry.

Third, no serious surgeon would perform the surgery. Your friend would either bribe thousands of dollars for a reasonable surgeon or get a shady one that would probably get him an health complication in the process.

Fourth, he's still 15, in a couple of years he'd deeply regret such a stupid decision.

Fifth and final, HE'S A GODDAMN FURRY! That on itself is proof enough his head isn't computing correctly!

Since this

is possible, a set of fox ears won't be a problem at all. If anything, it's less expensive than the above, right.

Also, holy shit I'm disgusted by this shit just looking at it. That kid better fucking stop and think twice before even considering.

KILL IT WITH FIRE!!!

If you have the bill with the cost for those modifications and the age they were performed, then you have a case. Until then, nobody with a brain will do that to the kid.

Fixed because there ain't no age factor when it comes to helping a furry when you (the "surgeon") probably are a furry yourself.

Dear Mr. Raymond,

Thank you for your inquiry. David Trainer is known worldwide for his state-of-the-art custom prosthetics. Patients travel here to Naples, Florida (2 hours West of Miami, Florida) from all over the U.S. and internationally to see him. He is a Board Certified Anaplastologist. He was instrumental in the development of the “disappearing edge” in which the prosthesis blends into the surrounding tissue without a seam. Patients, physicians and hospitals are in awe of his custom work, so lifelike.

I invite you to view our website, www.bestprosthetics.com to see "before and after" photos, testimonials, and information about our Center. We work with all types of insurance and we are very proactive in trying to get approvals for preauthorizations and in-network approvals for the patients so they may get the higher benefits and higher reimbursements. A script of medical necessity is needed when working with insurance we can help you obtain one from your physician. Placements are ½ for the cost to refill, because we keep our molds unlike other prosthetists. David will need 5 days to fabricate your Custom Prosthetic ears. For those patients who are from out of town we offer a nearby hotel which includes a daily breakfast with a corporate rate of $59 a night.

I understand that you have a few questions in regards to the prosthetic ears. If you would be so kind and give us your phone number, I will have David call you personally.

If you can please send me your insurance information, I would be happy to look into coverage and benefits. If possible, he would like you to e-mail us some frontal and side photos for him to view.

If you should any questions, please call our office at 239-254-1648.
We would be happy to have you as a patient. If you need additional information, please let me know.
Again, thank you and I look forward to hearing from you.

Kind regards,

Maree’ Striegel

Office Administrator

Hello again,

Fabricating fox ears is beyond my scope of practice. I would suggest looking into someone who does special effects for Hollywood.

Good Luck!

I'd slap some sense into that idiot. If that doesn't work, I suggest a psychiatrist.

I don't know what is funnier in my mind, the prosthetics guy not knowing what a furry is and thinking it's for some kid of TV/film role or him knowing what a furry is and indirectly giving the hint that furry stuff belongs to fiction, not reality.

Either way, shit's hilarious!

Re: Prosthetic ears?

Technically? No. I'm not certified by the American Psychological Association to practice. If you want I can still show up with a baseball bat to knock some sense into him, for free.
