Anti-swearing law draws expletive-laden protesters

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worl...rotesters.html

Quote:
The group used loudspeakers and cried “---- off Baillieu” and “Tell Baillieu to get ------” to protest measures allowing police to issue on-the-spot fines of up to $A240 (£158) for language that is indecent, disorderly, offensive or threatening.

The new police powers had been trialled for three years but have been made permanent under Ted Baillieu, Victoria’s Premier, who was elected late last year.

The rally drew only a small crowd — it was arranged late, the organisers said — and featured protesters wearing T-shirts and badges bearing swear words. But the amplified swearing was toned down in front of the police, who took no action against the protest.

Critics of the law say it is an attack on free speech, a revenue raising and an attempt to act to bolster the Government’s law and order credentials.

Ali Sayed, one of the protest organisers, said the new laws give police ill-defined powers to decide what rates as offensive language
Fucking Aussie cant shout fuck or any offensive words. If they do, the fucking police will issue a fucking on-the-spot fines.

When kluang finds you creepy and wrong then you are beyond horrible.

He who fights with monsters should look to it that he himself does not become a monster. And when you gaze long into an abyss the abyss also gazes into you.

Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the the universe.

Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?

Being Malaysian is about driving in a German car to an Indian restaurant for an Indonesian food, then travelling home, grabbing a Pakistani kebab on the way, to sit on Swedish furniture and watch American shows on a Japanese TV. Because we have no originality.

Wow now they want to control what you can say. What a fucking furfag filled government, and if the people don't fight this it'll only get worse and it would be their fault. Where's the line drawn?
