You guys both convinced me to that Shino would win. Although I still think Neji will still prove as to why he's the genius of his clan. He would definitely give Shino a hard time if they were to fight each other and vice-versa. We need to make another thread like this, I need to debate more! XD

The chakra flow goes through major internal organs, including the heart and other organs that would kill you by not having them. The Aburame clan isn't as highly rated as other clans. Their specialty is no where near the ability of other specialties. Every bug eats Shino's chakra in exchange for their abilities. Thus, if a chakra hole is closed, some bugs wouldn't be fed and might not obey Shino. This is if he lands a hit. If Neji uses Divination Field, Shino would most likely block with his bugs before it does land, but the force of the gentle strike would most likely kill the bug. Shino might be able to block all of the strike, but he could use Divination Field again. Shino's bug supply is limited by his own chakra. I doubt his is nearly as high as Neji's. This is assuming if Neji attacks first.

If Shino attacks first, Neji would either use regular punches, move out of the way, or Kaiten. Kaiten if there are too many. Most likely the bugs will be killed, since Kaiten's abilities could destroy a shadow clone. I believe the shadow clones are all equal in chakra amount. So, are you saying that a Kikai Bug is more capable than a large amount of Naruto? And thus, he could repeatedly use Kaiten enough to kill enough bugs as to be able to take the offensive and close the chakra holes. Neji is more of a genius than Shino. His abilities are much greater.

Oi, but the shadow clone disappears after a solid hit. The kikai bug works by draining chakra, so no, a shadow clone won't be destroyed by the bug, but it would suck the chakra out of it.

Besides the Kikai bugs are resilient. Even the air pressure of Zaku and Kankuro's puppets have not reduced their supply by a reasonable amount. Thus I doubt that shino's bugs would be destroyed by just two-three moves.

Kaiten wouldn't be an ultimate defense if it could only hold off two or three attacks. And, the a Kikai bug wouldn't be able to drain all of a shadow clone. But that doesn't matter, we're comparing these when put up against Neji, not each other.

It's not a stupid discussion. As you can see, there are intelligent debaters in here, and obviously you aren't one of them. I haven't seen you make a whole paragraph made up of 10+ lines. you're right impulseseed, that person obviously just don't like debating, the point of the discussion is to prove your point with facts, the point of the discussion is kind of like lawyers each taking a side and arguing about their point, in this case, it's the people voting for neji versus people voting for shino.....to the question of the fight, i would say undecided because both are geniuses, they are both unpredictable and remember that strength and technique play a role, but intelligence also plays a role because how you approach it can determine the outcome like the temari/shikamaru fight.

he's right, only because neji has one cool move (field divination stikes) everybody thinks he's great "reminder" neji lost 2 time's and he only had 3 fights and we haven't seen shino's real power jet and he beat kankurou (who could beat the spider guy easy)
