Honestly watching Itachi battle was a lil nostalgic, nice to see Kishi didn't crap on both of them within A chapter, but the raep will prolly come within the 2nd, next week. Either Naruto's caught in Tsukiyomi, and dosen't know it, and this is a genjutsu in which for the moment Naruto believes the power ups coming, or Kishi's not rushing anymore, he's RACING to the finish, and at this rate Sasuke will be brought out within the next 4 weeks. Mostly everything will be resolved by then, Gaara/Oonki's battle will be mixed with Mizukages situation, Swordsmen and the rest will be wiped out in ONE week, and I personally feel that by the time its Naruto vs. Sasuke, vs. Madara, all of the 'Processed Paths' will be ruptured and gone before they're battle even begins, and of course...

"I didn't even need those like that... I'm winning!"

i think the crow is ms defense too, it appeared when itachi used his ms, this is the first ms naruto has seen after itachi made him deepthroat a crow.

I am more interested in Kabuto's plot....he wants Madara to obey him. He also continues to rant about his true identity. The boogyman in the mask better watch his back....good chapter overall...good spot on the wicked MS. I hope the crow revives Itachi or somehow gives Naruto eye powers....a waste to see it this early but I have been curious

As mentioned before glad that Killer Bee used Samaheda. Even Itachi was caught off guard.

Nagato's use of the gravity pull into the small chibuka tensai was also a nice touch.

Hehehe - Dagoro brings back the Ramen Guy. Probably the most worthwhile meme when it comes to Naruto.

Decent chapter. No, the action wasn't spectacular, but compared to all other matches with edos, in this chapter the two jinks and two best Akatsuki actually converse while fighting, an accurate depiction of their skill levels. It was rather refreshing compared to the stand apart, talk for a while, flashbacks then fight and have it over in three panels. This fight only wanes if Itachi and Nagato fail to use some of their better techs - which Amaterasu appears to be the first. If we don't see Susano'o or at least that big giant thing Nagato used on Hanzou, then this fight wasn't worth it. Even if Naruto manages to defeat those, I don't care because it means Sasuke must need to have some other power up his sleeve, which would at least be worth waiting for.

So, yeah. This was another step in the right direction - even Naruto's peacenik ways didn't bug me. He responded into the fight well. Got a bit tired of the warnings followed by the "I know". I mean, I would have written the third warning as "I'm right be-" Punched in the face, showing that at least Bee and Naruto have the ability to match zombie Itachi and Nagato. At this rate, someone will eventually argue that Naruto isn't all that strong because all his opponents in the war were helping him defeat them. (Thought, to me, that's on Kabuto - idiot.)

As for the gift, it was always going to be something to do with MS techniques. A simple defense against the invincible fire (or all three of them) isn't terrible, but we should not be surprised that it is so simple. Amusing that the crow is coming back up. Worried it might defend Naruto and cause damage to Itachi - that would suck. But whatever, it will at least save us from having to wonder why Sasuke doesn't just burn the shit out of Naruto in the final fight.

Next chapter - more deep throat crow fucking.

ACt, that "big giant thing Nagato used on Hanzou" is the Gedo Mazo, and it's under Madara's control now. I don't believe Nagato will bust it out now.

Why not? The edos are imbued with all the abilities of the hosts at their prime or some shit like that - he should have access to all his summonings including Gedo Mazo. Also, who says there is only one of them?

Eh, the FRIENDSHIP speech only lasted a page or so, so it didn't dominate the chapter for once. I really hope that Kishi has the good sense (he doesn't) to not handicap Itachi and Nagato heavily (Nagato "I can't move" ). Honestly, if the main character is facing probably the two strongest characters we've actually seen fully in action it damn well better be an epic struggle instead of a two chapter smackdown.

It was nice to see Itachi's outright insane competence back. It's such a nice breath of fresh air compared to so much of the shit we've dealt with for a while.

EDIT: just noticed on page 15 that Itachi easily handled KB's "batshit insane" sword style. Sasuke why you fail so hard?

If we look at the many power ups since he last faced these guys, honestly this shouldn’t even be much of a fight. Even with Kabuto controlling their movements he can not honestly know everything about these guys so the edos should be weaker. On another note, Itachi looked really bothered by naruto's information. Taking the crow back from naruto was more puzzling though, especially with him saying "let's see what will happens"...which suggests something else. Is itachi testing naruto's container? What part of this interchange is Kabuto controlling?

For the opinion about the Chapter, will it suffice if I say hurry up Kishi, I want to read how the battle continues?

If not I say it is another great chapter in the lately long line of great chapters. I liked their talk more then the action, especially Nagato was nice and we finally get a glimpse of the power Itachi gave Naruto way back then.

I, along with Kabuto, want to see madara's mortified face. Too bad its covered by that mask kabuto, you really should do something about that.

The way itachi cut naruto off, makes me wonder if theirs any other details about the massacre we dont know yet. But then again he said, so madara...you knew..about me.. Like that's all their is to know, so we probably have the full story.

And lol at Itachi and Nagato helping Bee and Naruto with BEHIND YOU! etc. I dunno why, I'd just really like for the impossible to happen and Naruto and Bee lose hard.
