Kabuto isn't actually trying to win and has made that pretty clear. He was intentionally giving away Tobi's secret location to the Leaf as they were joining forces, lurking them there. Anko's presence allowed him to mask this to Tobi since he also wanted Orochimaru's chakra from here, but the Shinobi Allied Forces received the location already.

His version of Edo Tensei has shown that he's purposefully not using them to their fullest potential. He set Haku, Zabusa, and his other Seven Swordsmen of the Mist into killing machine mode and shut down their personalities, but hasn't done so with anyone else at all. Kabuto's never been fond of Kakashi so it's not very accidental that they've all been at his location.

That's pretty simple, Zetsu. In that scene, Kabuto speaks the word out loud. I'm pretty damn sure he knows Tobi had that thing attach himself. Remember, he didn't just stroll up to an Akatsuki hideout, he arrived at THE Akatsuki hideout and has shown knowledge of Zetsu that no one amongst the group other than Tobi himself ever did.

Um, Itachi was fooled how? He was the one that discovered Tobi's identity to recruit him for the massacre in the first place.

In my opinion Kabuto it's just trying to wreck havoc. Remember that the guy has his own goals and he also has leverage on Madara with that damn coffin. So capturing Naruto, i think it's not part of his immediate plans. He could want to get Bee just to fool Madara. Anyway Kabuto is on Kabuto's side. He has no true affiliations.

Did you not read my post at all? After Kabuto left Tobi's side, orders were given to Zetsu to store himself inside Kabuto in order to spy on him. Given his unique physiology, advanced medical knowledge, and habit to stay ahead of Tobi in every encounter they've had thus far, if he can't detect the foreign presence, I'm quite certain he expected Tobi to do so. That would be why, he spoke the traitorous words out loud (forcing Tobi to obey him) instead of internally (the fact that he's messing with him yet again) as he does afterward. He's been screwing with this guy since before he even met him, why would he stop now?

Yeah you don't get it. Having a little Zetsu spore on him isn't going to stop Kabuto. The point is simple if Kabuto manages to actually capture them a little Zetsu spore isn't going to make the slightest of differences. Also considering that Kabuto has manipulated the Zetsu tree it shouldn't even matter. Point is take away his golems that are supporting Madara & just go in & capture the two jinks himself. At that point Madara really holds nothing on Kabuto while Kabuto is holding everything against Madara. It makes no sense for Kabuto not to capture them at this point.

Thats news to me, until Tobi said 'Uchiha Madara has arrived', whom exactly within the Akatsuki knew he was Madara? I'd go so far as to bet that Hidan, Kazuku, Sasori, Deidara, Kisame didn't know, he told Kisame when he got back from Itachi's death. At the point Itachi dies he lets the remaining people whom mattered know. Zetsu is the only one that seemingly knew, and possibly Pein & Konan. If Itachi knew he was Madara he never said one freaking word at all. So is the opiniion that Itachi also knew, and simply let the other dumb dumb Akatsuki members be sucked up into Tobidara's story, just cause he had no way of defeating him, was scared, what?

Tobi already holds nothing on Kabuto. The entire reason these guys partnered up is because the opposite is true. Kabuto has a large, un-killable army of former Kages, ex-Jinks, a plethora of bad ass motherfuckers, and a special coffin that has Tobi shook like a hooker in church. If his plan were to simply capture the Jinks, he could've done this by now. He knew the location of island, opted to take Yamato, bounce, and never returned.

Zetsu's spore technique could steal his chakra outright and he can still relay information to Tobi while inside of him. If Kabuto were to actually defeat them both or come very close, Zetsu would inform Tobi, who'd just swoop in and steal them away. He may have done work on plant boy, but he was being watched the entire time. Considering Tobi's knowledge to create Zetsu in the first place, I doubt it was compromised.

Kabuto's yet to reveal his actual intentions or goals. So, there's no telling what he wants.

Dude... Seriously?

Itachi hinted that there was another living Uchiha to Sasuke right before he left the village, stating there would be 3 people who could attain MS. Sasuke mentioned this during their battle because he knew someone had to assist him in wiping out the village to which Itachi informed him that it was Madara Uchiha. Afterwards when Tobi meets Sasuke, he confesses his role in the masscare, but states that it was Itachi who discovered his presence. I have no idea how you missed this stuff.

Unlike the rest of Akatsuki, Itachi was recruited by Tobi personally. Outside of Zetsu, he had more information on him than the rest of the entire group. He was never sucked into any story. In exchange for Itachi's membership, Konoha was not to be fucked with. If you pay attention, there were zero movements made against Konoha while he was alive. The time he raped Asuma company was just to relay a message that was he still alive in order to keep Sasuke safe since Sarutobi died which Tobi stated. Itachi planned to leave Tobi to Sasuke, using the massacre to make him seek power and lose to their fight to provide him with EMS or MS so that he'd have the power to do it.

Actually, Itachi approached Akatsuki, not the other way around. He did it so he could keep tabs on them, and more specifically Madara, until they moved on Konoha/Naruto, while holding to his "missing-nin" label.
