Fairy tail 245

2 things stood out to me in this chapter: Lucy in sexy positions and the fact that Laxus participation was incredibly underwhelming. Honorable actions, but underwhelming non to less.

Edit: Also, Breath of fire.

That was a little anticlimactic, but I'm digging the fusing of Lightning and Flame Dragonslayer powers. I figured Laxus wouldn't have been able to beat Hades, didn't figure he would pass his power to Natsu.

I knew Laxus was going to be able to beat Hades but at least he hurt Hades a bit which makes him seem more fragile than this super overwhelming monster. He can bleed which was the point of this chapter I guess. I also agree it was anticlimactic but it was still very cool.

It's pretty obvious what will happen next. Makarov shows up and gives Natsu the infinity gene. Natsu transforms into Kaiser, and uses Kaiser breath to blow up the entire island since he will have no control of himself........or you know, a speech about the guild yadda yadda yadda followed by beating up Hades.

^ nice I guess not to much to say about this chapter Laxus came out swinging and got dropped but the point of this chapter was too prove that if the can't beat him in terms of magic spells Hades is old to the point that you can mess him up with good old knee to face action

Laxus though underwhelming had his moment of redemptive badassery

personally glad that natsu is back in even if it is yet another feed the dragon move
it didn't seem right to me that the fake slayer> real slayer
especially since that poison dragon slayer from before had more control then natsu and lost anyway
thats why I was hoping that dragonslayer magic would take a back seat with Laxus but it didnt

I'm waiting for the inevitable "Turn into a full dragon" flame mode, instead of the "surround appendages with fire" attacks. Natsu's already gained scales with his Dragon Force mode.

I thought scales was natrual part of the magic like gajeel and laxus did it on command

natsu just tends to hide it

ohh and the flame thing too we have seen gajeel turn to steel ala colossus
and it looked like laxus pulled a raichu this chapter(don't flame me )

Scales came after Natsu ate the Lacrima that contained Etherion from when the former council fired that beam on the tower.

Last week I was so exited by the return of Laxus... but after reading this chapter I feel like Ive been fooled. So seems like this fight is also going to end up with a weird Natsu power up where he eats something and become stronger than ever

Wtf happened at the end ?? indeed this was anticlimatic.
It's always the same shit, they power up natsu, he goes OP for a minute and then he's again his weak self. And btw laxus was cool in this chapter but he got owned a bit too fast and his resolution seemed rushed knowing he just appeared after being away for such a long time.

Weak chapter, I was expecting a LOT more out of Laxus, a LOT more. I hate when author's do this. A character disappears for chapters on end, only to come back and still get decimated by the main villain at that time. Sigh, oh well.

Even Makarov, couldn't defeat Hades, made you think Laxus was going to fair any better. Even with this lightning flame power-up, i highly doubt Natsu will defeat him. In the end two things will happen: Natsu will transform into a dragon (Hope Hiro doesn't go this route though), or Zeref will join the fight in his awakened form and beat Hades.
