I beat you to it. I said last chapter it's all a transcendental hallucination. His realization that Frieza's energy blast is 100 times more powerful then him came as so much of a mind fuck that he's snapped mentally and formed this elaborate scenario in his mind.

Funny Bardock thought that THIS Freeza would fold after one punch, yep like Father like Son, not the sharpest knives in the kitchen. He's different IMHO compared to the original 'Bardock' from what I've seen, he's too chatty, and after wrecking the nobodies, why wasn't he searching for a way off that rock called Plant?

Well he did manage to hit Chill hard enough to make his lip bleed, which is way more then he could manage to do to frieza. Bardock was bold enough to fly up to frieza's ship and take own him and his whole damn army, so it's not really any different this time around is it? Besides what other choice did he have, but to fight.


He was recuperating from his wounds, and I doubt he expected anybody to show up looking for him, or for the natives to be any threat to him. So it's totally understandable for him to be taking his time.




On a side note how would you rate Bardocks power level as he is now. In the DBZ movie Bardock: Father of Goku, he was beaten by Dodoria, so I'm sure he got stronger (as saiyans always do) by surviving that fight, and stronger still from surviving frieza and beating up those 2 fodder. He's gotta be a bit stronger then Dodoria, and perhaps as strong as Zarbon. I doubt he could take on the Ginyu force though, which brings us to an important question. I believe King Kai said something long ago that anger isn't the only thing that activate SS mode and that a minimum power level had to be met first. So has Bardock met that level? Hmmm, he's certainly nowhere near what Goku was capable of.

AMA I would assume he is as strong as dodoria since he beat him to with an inch of his life and he healed from it in the tanks before facing freeza
