let me show you a 3D rpg maker software, called

Maker3D is a powerfull 3D RPG maker environment.

The software is designed to provide user-friendly and familiar RPG creation tool for the maker-community. Software offers an easy, self-documenting clickable/writable scripting system based on BASIC programming language. Select-and-click based level edition

Just select a model from the left list by clicking with the mouse, and click on the map. Its so simple to create your rooms, cityes, houses, caves. Select a pen, and paint your ground. Select a texture, and change the ground tiles. Just like in the old 2d rpg maker softwares, Maker3D offers an easy editor system to create your maps within minutes. You need more than the built-in chipset and tilesets? No problem. Maker3D offers support for the most popular object and texture formats, including .3ds, .obj, .c, .jpg, .bmp, .tga


Built-in character creator wizzard

Select the hair fashion, select the panties, select socks, shoes, gloves, etc... In Maker3D, you can just simply click together your heroes, NPC-s, and enemies. You can simple add your textures too, and the finished models does not needed to be exported: they just work. You viewing the characters in real time while you editing them, you can rotate them with the mouse, and check them from multiple directions.

Documentation-free knowledge

Handling Maker3D is even simplyer than handling the old 2d rpg creator softwares. Just check the example game, read everything wich is writed out to your screen, and put your game together.

Easy script/event editing

You can place your scripts on the world map, and you can simply write them. You not need to learn Maker3D-s syntax: just click on the command! For example, to create a script wich loads a modell, just click on the command LOAD_MODELL, select a modell from the pop-upping content browser, then point on a location on the world map. You can use variables, cycles... FOR, IF, you can build up your scripts with the help of the famous BASIC programming language. After you click or type a command, the command's syntax appears, and a tiny example that shows the working of the specified command. You can place up to 80 script on a map: they will executed parallelly. Almost 100 scripting command: text writing, messaging, sound handlig, everything you need.

Built-in battle system

Maker3D has built in HP / MP / Item / Magic / Attack / Block based, turn-based traditional JRPG battle system. You can add up to 4 hero and 4 enemy to the current battle. You can handle the battle system easilly from the script-system. Running a battle will not even break the other running scripts on the map. Add your heroes, monsters to the battle system, and enjoy the battle with the epic battlecamera system.

Loading and saving

Game created with Maker3D offers loading and saving ability, wich restores your characters, variables, and items. It even saves a screen dump, wich is associated to the save slots.

WYSIWYG

What you see is what you get. You can just try your map in Maker3D immediately, and return to the map edition. Maker3D has debugging ability: watch your variables, frame per second rate.

Save executable

Maker3D can export an executable from your game. Your exported game can be easilly shared with your friends or on the internet. Your exported game is LOGO-FREE. Its not necessarry to install your game on the users machine, its enough to be copyed. No external runtime packages, and no other horror.

Modern 3D graphics

Maker3D got modern 3D graphics, with real time lighting and real shadowing. Particles, anti-aliasing, motion-blur, glow, gamma... Everything, you need. Maker3D is the ONLY usable 3d rpg creator software. This is the only existing software wich offers the simplycity of the old 2d rpgmakers and the magic of real 3d.

I would play the fuck out of a DoBW rpg. I have an OH team on my psp tactics ogre game that I play while I should be working. Not sure if that's gay or not, but whatever.

Shrike character is a necromancer (or, at least is going to be one, need moar skills from other classes first and don't have a lot of necro cards. Goddamn, I'm a nerd.), because they seriously wear masks that look sorta like how I picture those BS guys' masks.




Everyone is is pretty much a rogue or a berserker at the moment. Women are archers, healers, or witches.

Edit: Alright, got psp with me now. This is what I got planned as OH main jobs:

Madness- Berserker
Little spoon- Dark Knight
Jaxon- Rogue
Shrike- Necromancer
UT- Archer babe
Tab- Valkyrie babe
Vanity- Enchantress babe, which is what witch is labeled on the pic above. Witch is actually something else. Picked that one because seems like the babe with the biggest boobs. Just in case you wanted to know my rationale behind that one.
OG- Kunoichi babe
LN- Ninja
Mal- Warlock, Got a golem on my team too, because a big rock with fists is just fucking cool, and warlocks can power it up and make it really fucking beastly. And warlocks get cool draconic magic and shit.
ACt- Wizard
Arty- Dragoon, they pretty much just jab shit with spears, but they can power up dragons and I got one of those things too. And I use him to catch dragons too, since he has a dragon killing skill which raises dragon catching power. I need to catch a fuckload of them for this gay quest. Pain in the ass. Edit: Oh wait, power up dragon skill can't be used on his dragoon job. That sucks. Still kills dragons and octopuses and shit like a champ though, so all good I guess.
Zero- Fusilier, they look like they're wearing aussie hats.
Tzu- archer dude
Servo-Just a warrior dude at the moment, they can use claw type weapons.

Manly Miburo dude is a knight that breaks faces with a hammer. Always put everyone besides him on AI so they'll do their own things. Best fighters are probably the asians and UT and Tzu. Ninjas and archers are ridiculous in that game. Jaxon rogue dude is right along up there, and so are the mages once they get the magic going. Tab valk has some haste spell and heals, but still jabs shit with spears, so she's useful too. Everyone else ruins shit too, but they're slower because armor and shit. Had an SK dude who I would purposely put random shitty skills on so I could laugh at him doing nooby things. He eventually died and I harvested all his skills. What a noob.

I know I missed a few people, but I didn't have any more space to create guys without kicking some special characters.

Oh, yeah, sure. You dude wears a hat, right. It's pretty sweet. And everyone else, they use like swords and hammers and daggers and shit. Some dudes use bows. Some people get pretty fancy and use crossbows. But not you. You're a technological fucking genius compared to those guys. You actually use a fucking musket.

You don't have a super high level musket skill yet, because you can only actually get muskets late in the game, can't buy them, and have to find fucking instructions on how to craft them and shit. But he can use some weapon skills, and they're pretty beast. Like the one you do you're all like "No shield can withstand my lead!" or some shit like and then you, well, pretty much just shoot the dude. But it looks kinda cool. Oh, and you get a technique that lets you shoot through shit, like rocks or whatever. But all that shit seems to ignore some percentage of defense or some shit, so you can fuck up dragons and golems and fucking krakens and shit, which are pretty tough to kill. And it really is a pretty sweet hat.

So yeah, pretty good.

I don't know whether to be honoured that Miburo made a character of me or annoyed that he made me the wizard, which means magic which he doesn't respect. Sounds like:

Me "I'll hit them with my spell!"
Miburo: "Yeah yeah, old man... keep your fairy dust in your pants. Watch the men hit things!"
Me: "Awwww... why'd you create me if you're never going to let me zap something?"

Hehe - it is amazing how many people forget that Dallas was the creepy, old married sports store owner who secretly lusted after Debbie who she does in the final act (the only person Debbie has sex with) for big money to complete the goal. Life lessons - they really should show this in schools. A) sex ed and B) girls can learn that if they need money they can always prostitute one time to perverted old guys and all will be well.

Eh, I guess magic isn't that unmanly. Sure, being a frail mage man isn't as manly as being a close-quarters combatant. But I'll admit slamming rocks into dudes using your mind is pretty awesome too. That's what your guy does, cuz he's got earth element. Also has a good slow debuff. Mal's dude uses fire, because he's volcano Mal.

Also, I've never seen Debbie does Dallas. You guys make it sound pretty decent though, I'll download it later.

Well in my case it was more a case of "never knew" rather than "forgot." I will be sure to enlighten all others who make this same mistake.
