Hmm Not a bad chapter but it seems kishi is doing stuff that seems more and more like dbz with its powerups. First we have the characters suddenly using massive strength. Then we have the villain using a deadly beam attack (freeza's attack that killed vegeta), and now we are going into hyper explosion mode with an obvious combination of genjutsu and large scale explosive warfare over a large area. My guess is that naruto is gonna see the explosions soon and head towards garaa's location. Maybe just for the heck of it I will write a prediction this week.

2nd Mizukage is related to Suigetsu? Sure whatever.

Why does it seem like none of Mizukage's powers have any correlation to each other? It's one thing with characters who are hailed as masters of shit tons of techniques, but this guy seems to just pull all manner of new shit out of his ass which have no relation to his initial statement of being a "master of genjutsu".

Overall eh. Maybe I'm just a bit jaded after having just read through an actually good series a couple days ago.

Dan was freed from the barrier by the Gedo Mazo, there's still the 2 kekkei genkai users that summoned the swordsmen and mysteriously vanished shortly after. Not sure what's going on with Kakuzu, since he wasn't sealed when Madara showed up to that battlefield. Plus there's whatever blackmail Kabuto is using to keep Madara on a leash.

Yea I'm wondering about that too.. He has genjutsu, Madara's phasing ability, Oil and water ( I can go with these as a Water shinobi) That water bullet through Oonoki's neck was awesome even if it was just against a clone!

I really thought he killed Oonoki. I would have loved if he actually killed him though..He's a good guy that isn't necessarily needed for the story to move on..Plus he's old so he's dying soon anyway. Oh well

lolwut? It's not Madara's phasing ability. He flat out stated that he was intangible due to the clam making him a mirage. It wasn't a time/space jutsu that made him intangible, it was a genjutsu.

Initially I couldn't tell it was a clone, so much going on, kinda hard to see and understand that part exactly. I like how Edo-Mizu, was dissing Gaara's Tech's, while he was doing them, specifically the Giant Assed Pyramid of Sand Coffin, that Edo Mizu simply laughed at.

What I didn't understand is how is it that the other shinobi couldn't find a giant assed clam under the sand. Say they can't beat it, great, but Shino's clan could feel Zetsu's under ground, and I'm to believe that of everybody lying, there wasn't one Earth User with sensory perception?

Caught in the genjutsu, I understand, but like what Chiyo said, another person can help take the affected person out of that psyche. I haven't even seen any Uchiha use a genjutsu that affected that many people at the same time and rendering them useless. Yeah he's a former Kage, I'm just not one to easily believe that someone without a doujutsu can out perfom one without in the area of genjutsu. Say it was the summons, the Clam, but how was the genjutsu 'implemented'? Through smell, or sight, or sound, strange, and unexplaind.

Im not sure if the Mizukage himself was able to cast such a large scale genjutsu but the clam emits a gas to cast genjutsu.. which is why it affected so many
