After Jiraiya, Kishi only killed off Asuma (whom worked well with his unit and within the storyline besides his Father Hiruzen, barely any interaction which was curious at best), and didn't have the nuts to kill anyone else 'good'. Even when the supposedly 'died' they came back (Kakashi, Shizune), he couldn't take it. I actually saw him kinda 'whining/crying' about killing J-Man in some interview, and I'm thinking, Ninja's people are supposed to die thats part of the 'circle of life'.

Konan and Danzo are dead, Atsui and Samui are possibly dead, Kisame died, White Zetsu may have died, 40k nameless fucks and counting have died, etc.

People need to stop complaining about a lack of death. It's not that the series needs more people to die. It's that the series needs to gain back the legitimate engagement of the reader. If all the Konoha 11 were to be merc'd in a single chapter and it weren't done well, that would do nothing to help this shit series. Death is something which MUST be handled well for it to have any real force in the story. Complaining that the bad guys never catch a break against the good guys is kinda dumb when 90% of the fights any given protagonist has lacks any real value in the story and would not produce a meaningful death. I wouldn't say this if some people didn't constantly whine about it.

agreed. Jiraiyas death was meaningful and evoked emotion, Kakashi's vs pain wasnt. The 3rd Hokage's couldve had more meaning if he were more prominent during the beginning of the manga. but at this point the only deaths that would evoke real emotion ( if done right of course) would be if Sasuke kills Kakashi , after emotional speeches of course; naruto dies saving every 1 or sasuke dies. any1 else is just meh

My comments were about Konoha fan favorites, I saw some anxiety by a few Root ANBU, but nobody shed a tear for Danzou, and for his actions, he ended up as criminal as Akatsuki Members. Konan 'became' good from Rainbow Kool Aid, but honestly if we went back to the beginning of the Chuunin Exams, most of us figure MANY more named characters wouldn't live this long.

As stated about 'evil' or Akatsuki members, at most Zetsu will claim the body and have a conversation about 'how you were'.

The 2 Cloud nin, were inside the Ridoku's Treasures that Madara took, wouldn't shock me if he used them for either Edo's, got him in his 'Warp Zone', or simply left them inside the Pot that somebody 'good' will eventually get to and let them out.

And lastly I think most people are more bothered by the percentage of 'evil' that actually die compared to 'good' characters. Sure it should be lopsided in the 'good guy's' way but to a limit, its shocking that 'evil' even believe its in control of anything within the story. Hell one single village, Konoha basically went through the Akatsuki like a hot knife through butter, without Kabuto seemingly Madara would be doomed.

Ask yourself when the last time most of the "good" characters were in a fight against someone remotely near their level.

Most Konoha 12 people have not been in a fight where there was real threat of death for the entirety of part II. And those that have were overwhelmingly taking backseat to more powerful/important characters. There are obvious exceptions, but typically they tended to reflect poor fight-writing ability, such as those retard Kyuubi bros and Gai v Kisame. Other than that, when was the last time Shino's life was anywhere near endangered? Or Lee? Kakashi hasn't been in a really fair fight since he died fighting Pain. Comparing him to Sasuke as he was when they met is laughable, and Zabuza & Co. are so many levels below him it's ridiculous. I mean, what the fuck has Tsunade done in a fight since Part I?

You're angry that good guys aren't dying as often as bad guys? In terms of non-redshirt characters, THEY NEVER DIE AS OFTEN AS BAD GUYS. It's not even close. A major protagonist's death must always be significant to the plot. You don't just kill a character that the readerbase is supposed to have sympathy for and never have it be important. Meanwhile antagonists die on a regular basis because they are the measuring stick of other characters' progress and the obstacles which make the story. Bad guys die to advance the story, good guys die/suffer to add depth to it. And Naruto is a shallow fucker of a story.

I mean, let's look at Danzo's death. Danzo was, to everyone's eyes, a complete jackass before his death. His death scene ultimately gave a selfless intention in fulfilling a selfish goal. It gave a reason for his existence and a motivation for his character. It highlighted the difference between his cynical ideology and the lineage of happy fucks'. And it drove Sasuke into full-retard, out-of-his-damn-mind mode. Stuff like that happened with practically all the dead villains. Kishi may kill them off a lot, and he may fail to use them to their fullest potential. But he never makes their fall into an utterly pointless and trivial affair.
