There's a difference between "coming back" and "setting the seal to trigger a hallucination of my return so I can reset the seal". When Minato appeared in Naruto's mind, it wasn't Minato himself. It was something along the lines of an interactive recording.

I get ya, your right.
But if you've read my previous predics you'll realise I'm exactly like Vishnu (what he said above) our predics are more like fan fic not really a predic.
I just try to make it as realistic as possible and a good read.

To be honest if I tried to make an accurate predic I'd probably get bored and just wait for the next chap to come out. Lol

P.s. Of course minato ain't coming back...and if he did I'd probably get a first class ticket to kishi's house coz odds are he's gonna do to him what he's done to every other edo in this manga!...I still reserve judgement on itachi.

Seriously if Kishi still has some sense, then he wouldn't resurrect Minato and mess with the influence his character has in the manga, but we have all seen Kishi pulling things out of his ass and throwing into the manga without any explanation or reason. So won't be surprised if Minato zombie comes into picure but hope that doesn't happen.

About Sasuke, I think he should just go and kill Sakura first just to mock Naruto. Then we'll see the rainbow messiah does.

im jus sayin closest people to the hideout sasuke is at is the surprise attack divison then kakashis division then daruis division then gaaras group then sakura so for sasuke to get past all those people without fighting would be epic fail considering sasuke wants to kill kakashi already threatened to kill sai as well has beef with gaara kinda sorta and u cant forget the konoha 11 resolving to kill sasuke as well. i can see someone foolish like kiba or sakura fighting sasuke first kakashi saving him and in turn naruto intervenes on kakashi like he did when tsunade was gonna fight nagato. and like he did after the danzo fight but my bet is on sai dying to sasuke.. book it cuz when it happens i want a cookie

i don't think getting Minato back into the picture would be the smart thing to do by Kabuto. Itachi already got around his control, so what would happen with someone who has a far greater understanding of seals? Minato would get out of it too. The whole point of Minato is to raise Naruto up, and provide a standard for us to base upon.

Itachi didn't get out of it because of something he did while an edo, but because of something he did before he was an edo. I dont see anything minato could do, even if he has a great knowledge of seals, there just wouldn't be an opportunity.

Naruto 558: Death of the Demon Fox

We see naruto lying face down unconscious in the middle of nowhere.

Kyubi: Get up Naruto, I didn't call you here to sleep!

Naruto stirs and gets up into a kneeling position. He looks around confused.
Why am I here? How did you call me back
Kyubi: Foolish boy! Do you think I cannot have any control over you behind this cage even when you weaken yourself so much!
Naruto:...I know, I tried to do too much all in my own...
Kyubi: Foolish boy!! do you think you'll always have the luxury to make such mistakes and learn from them!
Naruto: I'll do what I have to to protect my friends! Now let me get back to the fight something weird is

The kyubi lets out a deafening roar the power of which pushes even naruto back and makes him brace himself.

Kyubi: You will Listen to me naruto and you will listen now!!
Naruto:?!?

Scene switch to Kabuto

Kabuto stands smiling in front of Minato with the dead body of Anko lying at his side

Kabuto: (It may have taken almost all my chakra to get this far but now is where it all begins)

Minato takes a few steps forward and stands still.

Kabuto: Thats all the moving you'll do for now Yondaime, we can't have you creating any seals and disappearing somewhere kukukuku.
Minato: The edo tensei technique?! How did you manage to pull me back from there?!
Kabuto: kukuku no need for you to know that yondaime since soon you won't remember a single thing.

Kabuto forms seals with hands and a look of confusion crosses his face, he reforms the seal. (Why can't I erase his mind?!! There is no connection!!)
Minato: What you might not have known is that I have permanent seals set on my body
Kabuto:?!!
Minato: They are seals to prevent others from controlling my body and mind.
Minato takes off his leaf headband.

Minato: After all what good would the yellow flash of Konoha be if he could be easily stopped in his tracks like that.

He throws his headband at kabuto who shifts to dodge it easily.
In an instant Minato is behind taking the headband in his left hand whilst wrapping his left arm around Kabuto's neck choking him.

Minato: I thank you for saving me from that fate.
Minato stabs kabuto through the back with a knife right where his heart is.

Minato looks around as Kabuto falls to the ground
Minato: (there) He disappears in a flash.

Scene switch to naruto

Kyubi: If you wish to save your friends...then I can help you do it
Naruto:!! Help me?! How?! Why now?!
Kyubi: ...I have been able to view what is happening through your eyes, I know everything that is going on and I know what it is Madarra plans.
Naruto??
Kyubi: His obtaining of all the tailed beasts means he either wishes to return us to our original form or he wishes to control us separately..
Naruto: original form?
Kyubi: irrelevant!! Either way he wishes to take me and be my host again and this I will not allow!!
Naruto:...why?
Kyubi: Until now there had always been a chance for me to have freedom, to break free from you once and for all, but if he gains me once more i will eternally be under his sharingans control and with Senju Hashirama gone there is no one alive now that could free me from that fate.
Naruto: Nine tails I wouldn't let
Kyubi: You are not strong enough to defeat him!!!, I know what he is capable of and you are nowhere near ready and as i have seen neither is anyone else in this pitiful war of yours!

Naruto looks down dejected as if all hope is lost to him.

Kyubi: That is why I will make you a deal Naruto:??
Kyubi: I will allow you to merge with me Uzumaki Naruto and become one with my power!
Naruto: merge with you?! But aren't we already??
Kyubi: No! at present we are like every other jinchuriki and I am merely contained inside you like I am in this cage.

Kyubi: If you agree we would completely merge and be one being you would have complete access and control over all my power.
Naruto: What would happen to you?
Kyubi: (he's thinking about me?!!) I do not know, it has never been done before...I could cease to exist and just become raw energy or I could still be who I am inside you. You however would be safe being the host body it would be your mind that would be in control and so would remain unchanged.
Naruto: why would you take such a risk?!
kyubi: If I die Uziumaki naruto then I'll never remember what happened and if I live I may have some sense of freedom being a part of you...both are better than the cage that Uchiha Madarra will put me in!!
Naruto:...
Kyubi: There is also greater risk to you also. If you are like your mother you could likely survive my removal if we were caught as we are now. But if we merge then there will be nothing separate to remove, Madarra will pull out OUR chakra to fulfil his plans and you WILL die

Kyubi: If you accept Naruto do not think it will be any easier to defeat him. I will give you all my power but you still have to learn what to do with it! You cannot defeat Uchiha Madarra on chakra strength alone. Your fighting style is weak against what he is capable of, even with my strength you cannot win as you are now, do you understand?!!
Naruto: Yes...I know...
Kyubi: Now Uzumaki Naruto do you accept my offer!!!

Naruto grins and holds out his fist, thumb up. ‘lets do it!’


Scene Switch to real Naruto

Naruto is lying face down unconscious in the middle of nowhere. He stirs and gets on to his hands knees.
‘woow that felt crazy’. He looks left and right, ‘where the hell am I?’

Minato: Well I thought if you were going to train with your old man that a change of venue might be in order.

Naruto looks to see Minato standing next to him with a big smile on his face
Naruto: dad?!!!

Minato steps back and pulls out a 3 pronged Kunai with a seal tag on it, he holds it out and readys his stance.
Minato: so what do you say Naruto, want to spar a little with your old man?!

i thought it was very plausible considering who Minato was and his fame it would seem pretty natural that he would have such counters
