Actually we don't know that yet, we shouldn't assume that is the case, I think I like this jutsu more than Itachi's because it has that trippy look to it. Plus since his is brand new and we haven't seen it used a lot yet, like Itachi's which was used twice.
Lets not get carried away Gaara is a well known character but I doubt people are going to stop watching or buying the anime because Gaara is dead, if so then they weren't fans of the show in the beginning.

well Kakashi's best friend DID die and technically it was sort of his fault since Obito WAS trying to save him. I think that qualifies as killing your best friend doesn't it?

As for now i'm sticking with that... it seems a lot more reasonable than saying there is "A different way to obtain Mangekyou."

if you think about it Gaara already gave all he have. he was an enemy, he was an allied, he change to a different kind of person, he turn into kazekage and he somehow died for his village. the possibility of he being death is not that crazy, Gaara is my favorite character in the serie and i dont want him to die but maybe thats what is going to happen.

nyahahaahahhahaha...now u beleive it is the mangekyou sharingan..some says it is impossible..lol...coz as far as i know, the mangekyou sharingan is the last and the most powerful sharingan that exist. so thinking it is impossible then what kind of sharingan would it be? but still it is different from itachi's form, as i said in my post in chapter 275, maybe itachi's obtain that form of sharingan because of killing his best friend, maybe it is the easiest way to obatain it. and also some agree that they have a branch and main family, well as i also said before, it is not written in the manga...

Now that we know that Kakashi is equal to Itachi, maybe all you Itachi luvers who've been holding him up as a god this whole time will come to your senses. Like I said in the Akastuki Info Post, we are few chapters away from seeing Itachi get his ass kicked, I seriously believe that. If Kakashi has made that much of in improvement in 2 1/2 years then I can only Imagine what Sasuke has went through under the care of OROCHIMARU. If Kakashi doesnt get to Itachi, Im sure his brother will so either way he's screwed.....

Anyways Im pretty sure Deidera wont put up half as good of a fight than Sasori did so I cant wait to see what he has to say about the rest of Akatsuki, Orochimaru or really I want him to give us any new info. Although Deidera is in a bad situation now, I know its not the end of him and he has more suprises for Naruto and Kakashi, he's in Akatsuki afterall. I dont think he got that far in an organization like that by relying on just explosive clay.

All in all good chapter. About next week: I hope Gaara is dead beacuse well, thats just dramtic and good for this whole Akatsuki story, and I want to see what Chiyo and Sakura are up to still. I wanna see Deidera fight also. I hope Naruto or Kakashi just doesnt kick his ass in one chapter because that would be so weak, and Ill loose alot of respect for Akatsuki

what can Deidara do if she got her arm turn apart and she dont have clay anymore? and we havent seen Narutos result of training with Jiraiya. i think this fight will end quickly but anything could happen.

i do believe it is really a mangekyou sharingan. perhaps it is because he's not a true uchiha that the eye looks differently from that of itachi's. anyway, did you still remember that kakashi told naruto and sakura that he has developed a new brilliant jutsu in chapter 247 of the manga? i think this is what kakashi is talking about.
