What would happen if the Chuunin exam hadn't been interrupted?

Well, the Chuunin exam got interrupted by Orochimaru's attack. Although the fights didn't happen in the exam, Gaara did fight and beat Sasuke, Naruto beat Gaara, and Shino beat Kankuro. However, the fights might've been different in the tournament setting. I think the fights' results would have stayed the same. The only thing I'm not sure about is if Naruto could beat Gaara without the motivation of Sakura and Sasuke dying. If they did go on, then there would've been Temari vs. Shino and Naruto vs. whoever won that. I'm pretty sure Naruto could beat either of them. Naruto could just make a bunc of Kage Bunshins and Shino's bugs wouldn't be able to get at them all. As for Temari, he'd probably figure out a way to get behind her and attack her while she was using her fan. Don't know how he'd counter if she used her weasel summon, though.

it would be interesting to see the ret of the battles, but we did sorta see them during the invasion...... i like the sound attacking konoha, it made the story interesting...

I dont think Temari knew how to summon at that point-- I think it was something she picked up in her short time back in Suna...

But I think Naruto would have won the 'tournament' but would have not been promoted...

I mean, he has the raw power to be a chuunin, but he is too reckless and doesnt really seem like he would make a good commander...

But oh well, I'm glad it turned out like it did... I mean, it sucks that the third died, but if he hadnt than we might not have met Tsunade, and Naruto might not have learned the Rasengan.

If the sound didn't attack Konoha, it's likely that Naruto would've won. Even without Sasuke and Sakura on the verge of dying at the hands of Gaara, Naruto would still have the determination to kick his ass.

Well heres what I think would have happened, first of all you SAW sasuke won the battle in the round, gaara fell unconcious thanks to the chodori, and I think then that Temari would have beaten Shino because she could blow away all those bugs in an sntan with her attacks, then Naruto would have beaten sasuke because of the Kyuubi and Temari would have beaten Naruto.

Naruto would win the tournament hands down... But he wouldn't be made a chuunin. He may be a fairly smart fighter, but he is still an idiot. On a mission, he would have no idea where to go or even start.

How did you come to the conclusion that Temari is stronger than Sasuke. Because that's clearly what you just implied.

Ehh... they never said Temari would beat Sasuke o_o

They just said that Temari would have defeated Shino (which I think is possible) and then would beat Naruto (who had beaten Sasuke)...

I doubt that Temari would be able to beat Naruto, but meh, they are entitled to their opinion...

even if you win or lose, it doesnt necessarily mean you are a chuunin, cause shika was the only one to become one....and he gave up...its how you react to them that counts...

Yea im thinking Naruto would have won the tournement but not get moved up to a Chunin, Shikamaru on the other hand would be promoted to Chunin still due to his mad Kagemane skills and his tactics
