For a while now I have been going back and forth in my head regarding somethings I have noticed. I have noticed that as the anime progresses that certain character traits we have grown to know them for seem to just go away and other ones are added in there place. For example when did Lee learn to fight even when he was unconcious? Why hasn't Lee at least opened one gate maybe the pain gate in his latest fight? It is almost like the creators wanted to go in a certain direction but decided later let's not do that, I have no problem with that but can we get some explanation as to why the change. I know a lot of people had there theories as to why Sasuke never used his imitation speed again after the chunnin exam but can we know why for sure. I am starting to lose faith in Naruto as an anime series, change is good in Naruto but without some explanation as to why there is change it doesn't go over well. When will Naruto learn another useful technique, are we expected to believe that he will eventually become Hokage just based off his use of Kage Bunshin. If so then the village will be doomed, is Naruto lacking the needed mental capacity to create his own jutsu, because even Kiba came up with his own new move. I just find it harder and harder to believe the story of the anime, I know that is kind of weird coming from someone who watched characters in this anime summon giant slugs, snakes, toads, and frogs but things just seem to be changing for the worse in my opinion regarding the anime. Maybe I am wrong what do other people think about the current arc of Naruto. I guess arc is the best word but I don't want to use, because I think it goes back farther than that I think that once Naruto and gang went to save Inate in the Toda race that little things began changing. I don't want newbies to think that I am just ranting here or that I am not a true fan because I have been around here for a while and helped set a few things straight in the world of Naruto regarding people's confusion on this and that but it just doesn't seem like the Naruto of old anymore.

i agree with you, but i think that the peope making the anime didnt or cant really show too much development of the charcters cos i think they're just writing from where ever ..
if they change the storey line or show too much in the fillers, when they get back on track with the manga it may not connect or something wont fit or something will be needed/added or explained.
with the sakuke thing i dont know why they didnt show him using his speed in fights, but that could've been because of the curse seal, affecting his body ...... but it does seem that somethings need explaining, but i guess that they are fillers, but i think even if they are fillers the quality of the anime shouldn't go down... yeah thats all i want to say about that right now,,,,,........

I hear what you are saying but Naruto using the nine tails power to fight is so much a part of the anime that it is almost an assured victory. Don't keep doing the same thing by having him use the nine tails then he just doesn't sometimes because the writers don't want to put it in the anime. It just doesn't make any sense why he isn't using the nine tails power or why Lee isn't opening any gates to fight Raiga. The first two gates won't put to much strain on lee that his fighting longevity will be in jeopardy. I just don't like numerous things left unanswered, unexplained, or stopped all together in an anime.

yes yes....... with the nine tails he doesnt use it in every fight,just as he needs it... as im always sayin to my friends naruto always tries to see the best in people thats why he dosent use the nine tail straight away,

But there is no good in Raiga his is a very poorly done bad guy with very little jutsu's and no good in him, just kill him off already.

i feel that way too... but than the fillers will end......and id be in heaven... and raiga is so weak, he should of died ages ago with his strenght..... compared to oither enermies that is

I just hope that when the fillers end that Naruto gets back to way it used to be and stop just prolonging things just to add on another weak.

all series must end, and this may be the start of it. Hopefully the manga shall keep progressing. Hopefully the next few fillers will be good, or show the origins of some enemies ( Kisame, Zabuza , etc)

I have a lot of opinions on this matter, but I'm not willing to make a list of all of them. Basically, I think the arc's are dumb. And after the announcement that the start of where the manga started will not be here to Spring 2006..I'm about ready to just quit watching Naruto until April. I think the arcs are rushed and crappily done. By far the best one was with Shino's team. The rest were stupid and horrible plots. Raiga? Not only is he poorly done, he has no unique abilities and he's not fun to watch. So, Naruto is starting to lose its appeal to me.

When he was fighting naruto sasuke didn't use super speed. It is because he would be too strong for him. Super speed is the only thing that makes lee strong, so they just didn't use that on sasuke again. it is stupid. I think they should call this crappy part of naruto naruto gt and then when the real story begins it could be the best anime. but now it is not so good.

"Super" speed as you called it isn't all that Lee is comprised of. He's stronger than you credit him for, and he is extremely smart.

you are right about that. I don't know how smart he is, but he has heart. In fact lee seems pretty thick to me like gai. Neji and sasuke are the smart ones.

In naruto there are some characters and that is good about the show.

Well everyone keeps talking about how the fillers will eventually end, but when will they end? I have not seen anything about them ending for maybe an entire season. The flavor of the anime is started to get quite bitter when compared to the honeysuckle of Bleach. The fillers are a cancerous leasion on Naruto and its gonna take some serious complaining or severe drop in rating in order to change that. Laslty I wonder why are the writers doing fillers anyway. The manga is quite a bit ahead of the anime anyway.

Secondly, one episode of the anime is equivalent to quite a few chapters of the manga. I couldn't tell you exactly how many, but a lot.
