Can someone answer this question?

After the 2 and a half year jump in the manga, Naruto comes back and everyone is a chunnin. But how can that be, when the chunnin exam is held twice a year. In 2 and half years that is only 5 times. And 9 people graduated to chunnin???

the number of genins that advance to chuunin is not one for each exam...it varies^^depending on how their matches go...and how they deal with it...

all 9 people promoted to chunnin that doesn't mean only 9 people get promoted..... there should be ather promotions.

If you remember Hokage sayin in about episode 50-60 something, he said that everyone could pass, only one could pass, or no one could pass. So even with 5 tests, everyone could've passed the test and become Chuunins.

you would think since they were now aware of what the judges were looking for...it was mainly how they handled a situation...i wonder who sakura teamed up with? i mean it needs to be a three-man team right?

even in 1 test, all 9 could pass.

I think that they would give Sakura an exception seeing as how one of her teammates became evil, and the other is being chased down by the Akatsuki...

on top of the fact that she is the Hokage's apperentice...

Other promotions to what, I believe you need to be a chuunin before you can become a jounin. It is very likely that 9 people became chuunin they already took the exam once why wouldn't they pass it the second time around.

Just to contradict myself a little, they aren't necessarily aware of the test since Kakashi led us to believe that there are a group of people that give each test. Remeber when they were talking about the first examiner they were saying that it sucks they got him first out of all the examiners.

I think he meant other promotions outside of the Chuunin Exam, which to my knowledge, there is. I thought I recalled it is technically up to the Kage when/who/how someone becomes a chuunin. The Chuunin Exam is just to give the Kage an idea of where the genins stand.

is the 1st exam always a test with the last question being a trick one and he u past that u pass the exam? coz when idate ( fast running guy and bro of the frist examiner, i think i spelled his name wrong tho) took his test it was like that too, his last question was a trick.

so if that was true wouldnt all the ppl that taken the exam once no wat to do andd they can sell that info to any1 and every1 can pass the first exam.

@MajinX: That's true, but why would those who took the exam before sell information like that? That's just getting more competition onto the second exam.
