i would recommend the dark tower series. the first
book is called "the gunslinger"
its a long series, but its worth it.

oh yeah, its my fav work from king. the story
actually changed my life in a way. i know that
sounds crazy, but its a really profound work of
literature. and it took me about three years to
finish the whole series. totally worth the time it
took.

its actually kind of hard to put into one category
or genre. each of the books have their own flavor
and like the first one is mysterious and the
fourth one is the love story. but the whole series
goes together very well. it's kind of
mystery, sci-fi, fantasy, and western all rolled
into one.
