While news of a Nazo no Kanojyo X anime adaptation surfaced awhile back, it's now been revealed via pictures from the latest issue of "Afternoon" magazine that the series will air in April of this year. The series is based off of the manga by Riichi Ueshiba and the anime production will be handled by Hoods Entertainment with Ayumu Watanabe directing, Akao Deko doing series composition and scenario, Ken'ichi Konishi doing character designs, Shizue Kaneko as general animation director, Masafumi Mima as sound director, and Shigemi Ikeda as art director.

The cast is set to be revealed soon.

Plot Concept: The series follows the relationship of Akira Tsubaki and Mikoto Urabe. Urabe is a transfer student who recently came to Tsubaki's school. After a series of strange events, Tsubaki finds himself addicted to Urabe's drool. Once she claims the addiction as love sickness, the relationship slowly progresses, focusing on the odd bond that comes out of the drool attachment.
