It's been known for a bit that CODE:BREAKER was getting the upgrade from manga series to anime series and the details for it have been scant ever since. Now some information has come down about how the Akimine Kamijyo series will transition into anime form.
The series has brought in Yasuhiro Irie to direct, who gained some attention from Western anime fans in the last couple of years for his work on Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood. He'll be handling the series composition as well while Masayuki Sakoi of NEEDLESS fame will be working as the assistant director. A potent combination to be sure. In addition to that, Yukie Akiya will tackle character designs and Kinema Citrus will be behind the animation itself.
The first bit of voice casting has been revealed as well with Kenichi Suzumura set to take on the role of Toki Fujiwara.
