Campione!'s First Trailer Surfaces Online

The Anime Contents Expo this weekend has had a lot of material surface for upcoming shows, near and further out, and one is the first promo for the summer 2012 series Campione!, based off of the light novel series of the same name from Jou Taketsuki. The new trailer hits the two minute mark so we get a lot of animation and looks at how the adaptation from Dionmedia and series director Keizou Kusakawa. The ACE event also included some more cast announcements with Rina Hidaka taking on Shizuka Kusanagi. Yui Ogura set as Athena and Shinobu Matsumoto as Touma Amakasu.Plot Concept: Based on Jou Taketsuki’s “battle fantasy” light novel series, about an ordinary high school student named Godou Kusanagi who kills a god and claims its powers. As a result, Godou becomes a “Campione” who slays other gods.
