The news came via the latest issue of Newtype in Japan where it’s been revealed the the first film will arrive on October 6th, 2012. It’s going to be a long wait for the second one though as that one will hit a week later on October 13th, making it easy to fly in for a week and take it all in.
This method does make sense as the first two films are condensed retellings of the TV series itself while the third film, undated at the moment, will be an original work done by the writer of the TV series.
