After the events of Avengers: Endgame, it’s safe to say things can’t go on as they did before and, while we don’t know what’s next for the Avengers on the big screen, we do know more about what some of the MCU characters will be doing on the small screen. Two shows featuring both Scarlet Witch and Vision and Bucky Barnes and Falcon are coming. We also know that Loki will get a show, and it’s rumored that Hawkeye will also be joining the Marvel TV party.
Each series will be produced by Marvel Studios’ Kevin Feige, the man behind the MCU, and are likely to be limited to 6 – 8 episodes. Feige has also said the events in the series will impact the Marvel Cinematic Universe so unlike the previous Marvel Television series, there will be a direct connection between the films and TV.
Here’s what we know so far.
Falcon & Winter Soldier
After the events of Endgame, it’s likely Falcon & Winter Soldier will focus on Sam’s new responsibilities and give Bucky Barnes a chance to redeem himself as The Winter Soldier. Both Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan are set to star in the series. We already know that Mackie and Stan have a great rapport with one another, so it’s a good bet the new show will highlight that while also laying groundwork for whatever both characters will be up to in the next phase of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
WandaVision
Given that Vision was one of the Marvel characters who didn’t survive, it’s a mystery as to how WandaVision will bring these two lovebirds back together, but where there’s a time stone and a quantum time tunnel, there’s a way, right?
Elizabeth Olsen recently described the series as “something the MCU hasn’t tapped into yet” and says she and Paul Bettany are both really excited, so it sounds like something Marvel fans haven’t seen yet. There are rumors that the show might take place in the ’50s, but Marvel’s always been good at keeping secrets so we can’t confirm anything about that right now.
Can’t wait for Disney+’s upcoming #WandaVision show, starring Elizabeth Olsen and @Paul_Bettany? You’re not alone.

Untitled Loki Series
When Marvel announced an upcoming Loki series, some of us wondered how Marvel might be bringing the charming trickster god back to life after his death at the hands of Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War. Now that we’ve seen Endgame and witnessed Loki’s escape in the past, a whole new bevy of possibilities have opened up. Will we see our mischievous Loki back up to his old tricks? We certainly hope so!
Untitled Hawkeye Series
While a Hawkeye series hasn’t been officially announced, it’s been rumored since early April and, considering the events of Avengers: Endgame, it seems like a logical step given the other shows that have been announced. Variety is reporting that Clint Barton will pass the Hawkeye mantle to Marvel Comics character Kate Bishop. If that is true, it may also mean the beginnings of the Young Avengers. But we also know Hawkeye has his own challenges after losing Natasha who gave her life to give him another chance at a better life.
