With less than two weeks to go until Star Wars Celebration Chicago, we want to highlight some of the panels you won’t want to miss and the Star Wars TV news that’s likely to come out of Star Wars Celebration is one of the things we’re anticipating most.

Last year and San Diego Comic-Con, Dave Filoni dropped a little news during the 10th Anniversary Clone Wars panel. This Celebration is going to offer our first real look at the new Disney + Star Wars TV series The Mandalorian starring Pedro Pascal. Plus a sneak peek of season two of Star Wars Resistance and a look back at Star Wars Rebels that’s sure to delight fans and leave more than a few people teary-eyed.

These are the panels we suggest you check out.

Star Wars Rebels Remembered

Star Wars Rebels

Sat, Apr 13, 2019 (12:45 PM – 1:45 PM ) Galaxy Stage

While Star Wars Rebels has ended, Kanan Jarrus, Hera Syndulla, Ezra Bridger, Sabine Wren, and Garazeb Orrelios, and Chopper still live in the hearts of fans all over the world. Creator and showrunner Dave Filoni along with other special guests are taking a look back at the series that gave us a whole new Star Wars family, taught us more about the Force, brought back Ahsoka Tano and finally brought Grand Admiral Thrawn off the page and onto our screens. (Please note: Lucasfilm has expressly stated they are not announcing a new series in this panel.)

The Mandalorian

The Mandalorian

Sun, Apr 14, 2019 (11:00 AM – 12:00 PM) Live on the Celebration Stage; presented simultaneously at the Galaxy and Twin Suns Stages.

Up until now, we’ve only gotten bits of information about the new Star Wars TV series starring Pedro Pascal as The Mandalorian but now fans can join executive producer and writer Jon Favreau and executive producer and director Dave Filoni to learn more about the series, which debuts on Disney + later this year.

No word yet on if there will be other guests, but attendees will likely get the first public look at footage from the new series and learn more about the new series which will reportedly match the tone of the Original Trilogy, contain Stormtrooper armies, and many a blaster battle, we’re sure.

Star Wars: The Clone Wars Sneak Peek

Sun, Apr 14, 2019 (3:30 PM – 4:30 PM) Live on the Celebration Stage; streamed to the Twin Suns Stage

Ever since Dave Filoni announced the return of Star Wars: The Clone Wars at SDCC, fans have been clamoring for more information on the new 12-episode run that picks up at the end of the 5th season and starts right before Revenge Of The Sith to end the series as Filoni always intended. As we see in the trailer, Ahsoka Tano and her master, Anakin Skywalker will be reunited and we know there’s a big fight coming, but not much else. Filoni will be joined by special guests to both celebrate the return of Star Wars: The Clone Wars and give fans a sneak peek at what they’ll see on Disney+ later this year.

Star Wars Resistance Season Two Sneak Peek

Star Wars Resistance

Mon, Apr 15, 2019 (1:30 PM – 2:30 PM) Galaxy Stage

After a shocking season one finale, Star Wars Resistance executive producers Justin Ridge, Athena Portillo, and Brandon Auman will be on hand to discuss the first season of Star Wars Resistance and offer an exclusive preview of what’s coming in season two. Ridge, Portillo, and Auman will be joined by special guests during the panel (we’re hoping to see a number of members of the voice cast) to expand on the many different things that have happened since we first met the inhabitants of The Colossus and what the fallout might be of some of the dramatic events of the last few episodes as we move into season two.

A number of these panels will be streamed to other panel rooms across the cons and may even be available online, so keep your eyes peeled!
