About your role:

The Vice President of Audience Development will oversee all of Fandom’s organic growth channels and teams- social, email and SEO. He/She will work collaboratively with product, content/programming, community management and business development to fuel brand growth across platforms and distribution channels. The Vice President will also work with leaders across the marketing organization on overall brand, growth and engagement initiatives.

You will…

  • Identify, prioritize and operationalize against top organic audience growth opportunities across platforms, including smart use of house inventory and in-product placements and features
  • Build and manage CRM and email program, segmenting and tailoring messaging to audiences to drive loyalty and revenue
  • Evolve our social initiatives into audience and revenue generators, determining best platforms, post type/share, new channels and processes/tools
  • Continue to drive SEO best practice across the organization, including content and community prioritization and optimization
  • Innovate through new analyses, new products, new vendor relationships and new audience development tactics; assess current vendors/tools and optimize
  • Ideate and create new tools and processes, including automation, where relevant, to improve team efficiency
  • Develop strong relationships with key brand stakeholders to enable teams to function more effectively and increase overall impact
  • Collaborate with product and tech organization on recirculation, recommendations and personalization efforts to maximize smart targeting across platforms and distribution channels
  • Build investment cases factoring in ROI around new audience development initiatives

You have... 

  • 15+ years audience development experience across SEO, social and email
  • Deep understanding of social media channels, features, functionality and use cases
  • Knowledge of SEO impact and best practicesExperience with email/newsletter and segmentation strategies
  • Exceptional analytical, quantitative, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
  • Experience with a multivariate testing tools (e.g. Adobe Test & Target, Optimizely) to optimize marketing and user experience initiatives
  • Strong leadership and managerial skillsA love of data and strong analytical and quantitative skills
