Account Executive

About your role:

Fandom is searching for a brand advertising & partnership salesperson to join the team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing existing advertising business and for generating new business for Fandom in the Midwest territory. Candidates should be highly organized and detailed-oriented, with solid communication skills and the ability to work on multiple ongoing projects.

  • Build, manage, and optimize personal relationships with agency and clients via in-person meetings, emails, and phone calls
  • Work with existing and potential new endemic (television, movie, gaming) partners along with non-endemic consumer brands to determine business needs and formulate successful integrated marketing and sales solution strategies
  • Set territory sales agenda including prioritizing and organizing sales calls for maximum dollars
  • Respond to RFPs and develop original promotional ideas at the client and agency level
  • Actively cover the Midwest region and work closely with a focused sales team in creating original, strategic proposals/presentations that meet and exceed the needs of clients/agencies
  • Conduct regular analysis of territory including "big picture" forecasts
  • Complete regular call reports to update sales management on account activity
  • Maintain territory revenue forecast
  • Lead & manage assign sales “POD” support team including setting process, providing guidance and recommendations, & delegating additional responsibilities

  • A digital advertising industry professional, with strong individual contributor sales experience
  • Experienced working on custom branded content, social media & events solutions
  • Able and willing to travel
  • Successful in meeting and exceeding revenue goals
  • Able to think and plan strategically; have strong negotiation skills
  • Contacts with strategic Midwest territory clients and ad agency leaders and teams
  • Self-directed and comfortable working in fast growing, rapidly changing environment
