Senior Manager, Product Analytics

About your role:

The Senior Manager, Product Analytics, will oversee all insights, reporting and in-depth analyses to guide Product, Design and Engineering development and roadmaps. The Senior Manager will be responsible for evangelizing the use of analytics to drive data driven business decisions. The ideal candidate will be highly quantitative, nimble and creative with the ability to think critically and influence teams to ensure that testing and insights are core to the decision-making process.

You will...

  • Provide insights which deepen the understanding of overall user behavior, features/functionality use and inferred user needs
  • Define KPIs and monitor product performance against them through dashboards and ad hoc analysis
  • Develop an A/B and multivariate testing framework and evangelize an “always on” testing mentality within the product organization
  • Utilize multiple data sets and sources to provide a 360 view of the consumer
  • Provide data-based recommendations to guide product work towards high consumer engagement opportunities
  • Partner with key stakeholders to prioritize company-wide asks based on ROI against team OKRs
  • Monitor product launches to mitigate risks, measure success and recommend optimizations
  • Partner with colleagues in the analytics organization to architect an analytics implementation that enables superior decision making across the business

You have…

  • 5-8 years of experience in in product analytics, working with large data sets and synthesizing insights into actionable product recommendations
  • Expertise with Google Analytics
  • Highly skilled at writing SQL to query relational databases; familiarity with Python and R a plus
  • Experience with A/B testing and statistical significance techniques such as t-test, ANOVA, correlation etc
  • Experience working with modern data warehouses such as Amazon Redshift, Google Bigquery or Snowflake 
  • Experience working with analytics tools such as Looker, Mode, Tableau
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills- ability to clearly articulate and present insights to creative and technical teams alike
  • Strong critical thinking skills with great attention to detail
  • Ability to independently initiate, lead and drive projects to completion
