Rather than the traditional Create a Class feature, Call of Duty: WWII will have a new system called Divisions. It changes how players invest in their Call of Duty: WWII multiplayer character, with the choice of five divisions each with their own specialised training and weapons skills. The new War Mode will see players working as a team to fight for control of multiple strategic objects, not too dissimilar to the Operations mode in Battlefield 1.  The Call of Duty: WWII beta starts on August 25 on PS4 with the release date set for November 3 on PS4, Xbox One and PC.

The Hitman game series is, as you've likely guessed from the title, focused on assassination. But while protagonist Agent 47 can employ silenced pistols, sniper rifles, and other usual tools of elimination, the series has prided itself on offering players more creative opportunities to complete a contract.2016's episodic Hitman -- available as a "Complete First Season" package on January 31 -- is no different. You can use the environment and find all kinds of objects. You can hit someone with a golf club. You can blow someone up. You might strangle someone or throw someone off a balcony or a railing, but there is so much more than that. Producer/Director Naoki Yoshida announced further details and features for Stormblood during the keynote presentation of the event, including the following:New Job  Samurai (DPS Role): Samurai joins red mage as one of the new jobs to debut in Stormblood. The katana-wielding samurai is a powerful melee attacker and master of Iai swordplay techniques who can store energy within their katana to unleash special attacks. This new job will allow players to learn and master the art of Sen and its three forces as they develop their abilities: Setsu (snow), Getsu (moon), and Ka (Flower). New City  Kugane: Located within Hingashi, a Far-Eastern archipelago nation with a strict isolationist policy, Kugane is the only port city open to foreign trade vessels. Violent acts are strictly prohibited within the towns walls. Additional Beast Tribe and Primal: The Ruby Sea is one of many new areas accessible on the continent of Othard, and home to the Kojinskilled traders residing in underwater settlements who welcome dealings with other races. The Kojin believe that a unique god resides in all objects and are collectors of treasures housing powerful deities. This beast tribe, like the others of Eorzea, finds itself intertwined in the worship of a primal: Lord of The Revel, Susano. New Dungeons: Many new and challenging dungeons, including Yanxia and The Azim Steppe, await adventurers in Stormblood as they explore the reaches of Othard. Residential Areas: The highly anticipated new residential area, Shirogane, was also announced. The Call of Duty series returns to its roots this November with Call of Duty: WWII, which marks the first time in almost a decade since the series visited the historic conflict. If you're thinking of jumping back into the series with Call of Duty: WWII, here's everything you need to know.

A Mode for Every Mood

On the multiplayer side, classics such as “Team Deathmatch” and “Domination” make their return to Call of Duty: WWII. However, it's the new “War” mode that has fans buzzing. War is a new narratively driven multiplayer experience that allows players to relive famous WWII battles. As either the Axis or Allies, players are tasked with attacking or defending objectives. The popular “payload” mechanic is even introduced during some stages of “War” maps. It’s definitely the most unique multiplayer mode in Call of Duty: WWII.

No More “Create-A-Class”

Also new to multiplayer is the addition of “Divisions.” Before entering your first match, you’ll be prompted to join a division. You’ll have five options to choose from, and experience earned in matches will allow you to unlock other classes down the line. Each class is assigned a loose difficulty suggestion, meaning the Infantry has the easiest loadout kit to master whereas the “Mountain” division is geared toward more experienced FPS veterans.

Hone Your Craft at the “Headquarters”

Another can’t-miss feature is the addition of the “Headquarters” social experience. Similar to the social spaces of fellow Activision shooter Destiny, Headquarters will hold about 50 players at a time and offers a variety of player activities in the downtime between matches. You'll be able to test out new weapons, challenge others to 1v1 duels, and more.

Realism Returns

Call of Duty has also shaken up the single-player experience in World War II.

There is a renewed emphasis on realism, with no health regeneration and no ammo drops. Instead, first aid and ammo will be supplied by squad members. Players can also earn experience points by dragging their allies into cover, capture enemy soldiers, and -- of course -- killing enemies. Earning XP will allow you to upgrade your character as you progress through the story.

Zombies Are Back

Finally, it wouldn't be a Call of Duty game if there wasn't a zombies mode. This time around, the biggest change is the addition of a class system that includes offense, control, medic, and support. On the complete opposite spectrum of realism, the “Zombies” game mode returns as robust as ever. Each class a certain role to fill and different abilities, making a balanced team essential to pushing back the waves of undead.
