Who is Mario?

As you join Mario on his biggest 3D adventure yet, complete with a touch of globe-trotting, you'll be accompanied by Mario's hat, Cappy. This magical fella is actually a big white top hat that's transformed into Mario's classic red flat cap, but he's got a tonne of powers to give Mario on this journey to rescue Princess Peach from Bowser's shotgun wedding. As shown in the latest Super Mario Odyssey trailer, you'll actually be able to use Cappy to transform into classic Super Mario enemies, including Goombas, and other critters within the world of Super Mario Odyssey like a little frog who gains Mario's moustache. The latest Super Mario Odyssey trailer also confirmed the games launches for Nintendo Switch exclusively on October 27, 2017.
