Its one thing to say youre playing a Power Ranger in the big screen reboot. I personally got to do a fair amount of my own stunts, at least on main unit. From the first night that we shot, there was a whole big car thing that I wont elaborate on. But it was incredible how much fun we got to have and how much lenience there was, obviously with a lot of safety and guidance.And its not just Montgomery who displays a note of X-Games intensity; the entire cast lights up when given the opportunity to elaborate on their favorite stunt.One of my favorite scenes that involved stunts was, we basically just had to run off a cliff, says Naomi Scott (the Pink Ranger). And for me that was so much fun because, obviously, we were harnessed up, but you dont see that. So in your mind what you see is, Im just running off a cliff! I think for me it was the closest to feeling like I was flying.And for that stunt, we actually broke a record, adds Ludi Lin (the Black Ranger). That cliff was like 40 meters across and we broke a record for that jump.
