Not only is Get Out one of the most financially successful films of the year, but it's also one of 2017's very best. And FANDOM has spoken at length to the film's writer-director Jordan Peele.But what of a sequel? When a movie makes that much money, talk inevitably turns to a follow-up. And as the head of the studio that has made a mint crafting sequels to the likes of Insidious, The Purge and Paranormal Activity, Jason Blum knows a thing or two about building a franchise. So we asked the man himself if we're liked to see Get Out 2 anytime soon."Never say never" came the response, which can be viewed in the above video. "It would be entirely up to Jordan, I would never make a sequel if Jordan didnt want to. I cant imagine what the sequel would be. If Jordan had an idea for the sequel Im sure wed do it, but he hasnt said, and I dont see a sequel for this movie. Weve made a lot of sequels from a lot of our movies, and I really dont see one for this. I see maybe a cousin but not a sequel."Peele has however, hinted at the fact that he'd like to look back to the past, exploring the history of the secret society at the heart of Get Out. And it sounds like Blum also sees a prequel as a possible way to go."Id love to do that if he wanted to do it" he said. "It would be interesting for sure. It would be a good TV series."Sounds good to us too, so come on Jordan - the ball's in your court now.
