The first glimpse of the new take on DuckTales has arrived.The classic series was a mega-hit back in the '80s and '90s. The adventures followed eccentric millionaire Scrooge McDuck as well as his nephews Huey, Dewey, and Louie. You could also count on his niece Webby and his bumbling pilot Launchpad to join in the fun. There were numerous supporting characters and villains that became fan favorites.The series also spawned two video games on the Nintendo Entertainment System and a feature film. 2017 will see the DuckTales crew back in action!

You know you wanna!It's pretty great to see the Carl Barks's original comic book influence become so pronounced in this intro sequence. Seeing Uncle Scrooge and the gang race through adventures and comic panels showcases how much this show knows what it needs to be. It's looking more and more like DuckTales is going to appeal to both old fans and a new, younger generation. Huzzah!DuckTales hits the small screen on August 12 in the form of a one-hour TV movie special.
