Wishmere is an intense action brawler perfect for anyone obsessed by beat-em-up classics of the arcade scene, offering up tight retro-inspired gameplay enhanced by an engaging time control mechanic. Gamepedia and the game’s developer Crayder Studios are pleased to announce the Official Wishmere Wiki.
Few experiences in gaming are as satisfying as seeing off a wave of enemies in a beat-em-up. While the beautifully animated sprite-based graphics of Wishmere evoke a certain sense of nostalgia for days gone by, sitting down to play the game reveals that this is much more than just a blast from the past.
With a bone-crunching combo system and the ability to slow down time, there’s plenty of depth to the combat at the core of Wishmere — and that’s without even getting into the various character types players can choose from. Depending on whether you select out-and-out fighter Earle, potent sharpshooter Dove, or another of the game’s many protagonists, the brawling experience can play out very differently.
