Duelyst, the tactical card battle game from Counterplay Games, has released today after spending six months in open beta. This release allows the developers to now focus on new content such as tournaments, events, and upcoming expansions. You can play Duelyst for free now on PC or Mac by downloading the launcher from the official game website.
During its beta, Duelyst attracted fans of competitive strategy titles and skill-based games. With matches lasting only eight minutes and a wide variety of units and spells, it’s the ideal title for someone searching for a new way to compete with other gamers. The developers even have plans to add in-game tournament tools, and they’re currently hosting a seven-week tournament with a prize pool of $5,000.
If you’re not a fan of the competitive scene but you’re still interested in experiencing Duelyst, there are casual and unranked game modes available. Since the game is available to play for free, it’s worth trying out if you’re a fan of collectible card games or turn-based combat.
